So I'm trying to avoid having to replace the entire thing. Below is the lower coolant hose that goes to the radiator. The end has a hard plastic(white in color) 90 degree elbow. It broke off. There is no replacement part, just the entire hose and it runs about $90. Does anyone know if something like that is possible to replace?

I did a similar repair on my old suv as a repair to get me home and it didn't last very long (a few months before it was leaking again) and eventually had to put the factory hose in. It was a similar design to what is in your picture. I would just bite the bullet and do it right with the factory hose.

I agree with duneslider. In these days, $90 could be seen as a very cheap repair. Better to do it right and not have to mess with it again for a very long time. Another thing to consider is the damage that could occur of a "patch" repair doesn't hold and you end up far from home, broke down, possibly with a toasted engine.
