I'm still Feb 23 (scheduled to day). Now I'm kind of hoping it doesn't arrive until the 15th or later, since I assume I'll get some sort of profit-sharing check that day. I'm guessing there won't be special financing rates for the new model, so it's looking like I'll want to put as much cash...
I left a $1000 deposit for my 2021 and 2022 A Plan orders. When ordering opened for the 2022, I told them I'd not take the 2021, so they just rolled my deposit over. I seem to remember that I only left a deposit because I was contemplating buying off the lot originally.
Oh, man, I've had a lot of road trips in Expeditions.
I think my first one was a 1999. I bought it used in Arizona in 2004 to use when I lived in Hermosillo. When that job was done, we took 10 days to head home to Michigan via the national parks (the ones that hadn't closed for the winter). Two...
Email confirmations require the dealer to put your email into the system. I'm assuming that it's easy for the dealer to miss, because I've ordered two Expeditions from the same dealer, and never have gotten email confirmations.
And, of course, everyone expects interest rates to go up. As for the trade, does Texas charge you the entire sales tax for the new one, or do they deduct the value of the trade? It might be worth it just to sell the F-150 now, if you do the math.
Auto start/stop removal was only offered due to commodity restraints. Now that that commoddity is no longer restrained, deleting it is no longer an option. It plays a miniscule part of the published fuel economy, hence the ability to delete it normally.
My Star White Max with second row captain's chairs is still showing "Scheduled to Day (Feb-22-2022)" as of this moment.
I wonder if the auto stop-start removal is somehow screwing things up? I seem to recall that that was only temporarily available due to a commodity restraint, and now that...
I sold mine! I'm expecting a new one by the end of Feb. or first few weeks in March, so I put it up for sale Saturday, sold it Sunday, and closed the actual deal today. I hope I don't need any sheet goods from Home Depot before then.
I see my vehicle in Vehicle Visibility, but when I use this link, it only results in an error. It might have something to do with the 2021 to 2022 transition though; I don't know for sure. There's also the possibility that the order number it's asking for is different than the order number I use...
It will default to normal lane centering mode that the other trims have. It works mostly like Blue Cruise, except you have to put some torque on the steering wheel every 20 seconds or so to avoid warnings and cancellation.
Not true. Close family members get A Plan. Extended family members and friends and neighbors are eligible for X Plan:
Selected individuals sponsored by a Ford Motor Company employee such as an extended family member (other than those identified as "immediate family members" referenced under...
Great news! Although I have a VIN and build date (an actual day now, not just a week), my sales rep. got back to me and indicated that he processed the change. Because I can peek into Visibility, I see the change added as of today's date, with no slip in the build date, no change to my priority...
This comment made me realize I'm an idiot so I went out and looked at the axle code for my '04, telling my I have LSD and 3.73. While I recognize that it's mechanical and not electronic, I like this truck in the winter, and have fun flooring it on the icy neighborhood roads (when it's safe). It...
Won't the automatic four wheel drive kick in for things like this?
I'll have to look at the new prices; you lose price protection for these types of changes, and like someone else already mentioned, you lose your place in the queue once the VIN is assigned. Still, given the price of the...
I didn't order the ELSD, but given that I already have a build date and price level 215, I don't want to change my order. I started this adventure way back in July (for a '21), and don't want to wait any longer. The good news from this thread is that like the OP, I don't think I'm going to worry...
I did sight-unseen, too. I had a 2019 Platinum that I loved, but it was a company car and I had to give it back. Mechanically there aren't a whole lot of differences from 2019, and since I've got a Mach E, I'm already moderately happy with the electronics, so I pulled the trigger.
I've never received an email from Ford directly, but I can check the visibility system directly. I assume that the dealer simply never put my email address into the system. Lack of an email isn't necessarily a bad thing.
You mean the cross bars? They're for those of us who carry stuff on the roof. The roof is only 0.65 or 0.7 mm thick; you want the cross bars to take that load and put it on the structure.
