Removing panel on left side of radio.

I googled this once before a few weeks ago.... You need to remove the center panel first.....need to remove a few screws holding the top center hold all on top of dash to access the top screws holding the center panel. Once center panel is removed the screws holding the left and right panel are...

Oh, I totally understand....that's where dealers make their money..... Just went thru similar for maintaince I couldn't do, a simple coolant flush and new thermostat....$550 total for $100 bucks of parts/fluid and the rest labor. Outrageous but independent garage quoted more for using...

What Have You Done to Your 4th Gen This Week?

Got a set of one piece nut's on Amazon. Went thru the same with my previous 2021 Ranger, which probably half the forum members do almost as their first mod. No way would I want to get stuck on the road with swollen nuts......:rotflmao:

Adding backup camera on a trailer to see on main screen.

I don't think there is a way.... When I was on the Ranger 5G/6G (2019-2025) forums we were always looking to do the same so we could keep an eye on our travel trailers and what was behind them, but no one ever found a way with the OE systems.

New Owners of 2024 Ford Expedition Max Platinum

If your looking for a "deflector"....the type that sit's up from the hood and doesn't touch it other than where it screws underneath the hood edge.... Look at Husky. After looking at several brands, I bought the Husky for my 2019.....fits perfectly, excellent quality. Runs around $70 direct...

    DTC P0035?

If you look further into the P0035 it indicates a possible problem with the turbo bypass or wastegate valve.....that is totally different than the BOV. I do believe the wastegate valve is part of the turbo..... Two totally different parts/problems...... If it were the BOV the code would be...

    DTC P0035?

I believe it is located on the tube routing out of the intercooler, behind the radiator, underneath on the drivers side. Not part of the turbo...separate part. Info from a thread here in the 4th Gen Forum, Feb 23, 2023, "GFB Blow Off Valve First Impression " thread.....he explains where the OE...

    DTC P0035?

The BOV is located on the intake tube between the turbo and the intake throttle body. It is necessary to let off excess pressure....had something similar happen to my previous 2021 Ranger where it was sticking in the closed position and not letting the system build correct pressure for the...

    Running hotter than id like

That was it, that and possibly old coolant. Got a flush and new thermostat (190 degree) installed and Tank runs 30 degrees cooler. 220 coolant and 210 trans before with a 55 degree outside temp........now 188-195 coolant and 190 tranny now with an 80 degree outside temp. Once temp hits the...

    Rear-end sag while towing

We tow a 7000 lb Jayco with right at 725 lb tongue weight. Just came from towing with a 2021 Ranger which, while adequate was not perfect. But, it did have the leaf springs which were easily modified with some suspension add-ons which helped. Have been towing for more years than I care to...

    Running hotter than id like

Been 3 weeks since I bought Tank and noticed a constantly high coolant temp (via Scan Gauge lll) while driving solo...no trailer. Temps fluctuate from 210 to 225 even with outside temps of 50-55 degrees. Around 215-217 the fan comes on and stays on till below or around 210. Pretty sure the...

    Transmission cooling-can it be improved?

For info, the normal operating temp for the 10R80 is right at 215 degrees. This is the temp that the Ford tech's try approach to get a good trans fluid level. It is not uncommon for the temp to hit 230-240 when under load/towing, and the fully synthetic ULV is good to upwards of 270. Not saying...

Best full coverage all weather floor mats

Let us know fit/finish/quality when you get em. I have always bought Weather Tech in the past, but at 1/2 the price, leaning toward the Oedro's. I mean it's a floor mat for crying out loud and if less cost gives me the same coverage it's a win.

Best full coverage all weather floor mats

You have Weather Tech....the most expensive. There's Husky, about 1/3 less than WT. A new company called Oedro, about 1/2 of WT. All are made with thermoplastic and all cover the entire floor/cargo areas. Probably a few more out there also....

What Have You Done to Your 4th Gen This Week?

Spent a day with my new-to-me 2019 detailing the interior. Previous one owner and they only used second row for child seats. Third row never used. Cargo area has a few scuffs from strollers and "stuff". Cleaned every nook n cranny and used a good portion of 303 to hit everything inside, and...

    Mud flaps

Looking at the Husky....don't think they will fit the front....the Weather Tech's are molded to fit with the running boards (front) and the Husky's aren't..... May just have to bite the bullet for the WT's. Need to get as the rear's keep a lot of crap from the travel trailer when towing.

    Mud flaps

I paid about that back in 2021 when I bought our Ranger, but now even the Ranger's run $160 plus shipping. How close are the 4th gen Expys fenders to the same year F-150.....that would open up Husky's and a few other choices....
