A 99 f250 doesn't have the rear door cut in for the rear fender wells. That's why the expy windows won't go all the way down. I suppose it might be possible that there is enough physical room for the window & maybe you could hack the regulator somehow to make it work. If that were the case...
So does it actually fit? I wanted to do the same thing but everything I found online said the inserts were a different size between the F150 / Expedition & you had to swap the whole front / headlight surround piece. They sure look the same though.

Depending who you talk to, HID need a warm-up & cool-down period. Flashing them repeatedly will shorten the life. Not sure if that's still the case or older gen issues.
OK. Just to beat this *completely* to death...
Here's the deal. Yes, pulling the wire from the CSM as described above DOES stop the headlight flash when you lock the doors.
It also does NOT prevent the autolamps from turning on the headlights when it's dark.
*However*, it DOES prevent all...
I finally got some time to get the rotation taken care of. Turns out it was really only the drivers side that was off, probably less than a degree. I was able to adjust it level again just using the tabs on the washer to tap on.
The obligatory pics:
I'm still in awe when I hit the high...
So finally got them in and adjusted. The headlight harness is pretty simple. Power, ground & connect to the original bulb connector. Wiring for the halos was actually worse than the headlights.
The low beam cut-off was a little finiky to get right just because of the height of the...
Thanks MG. I've found these, but neither address my issue...
This is essentially the same as pulling the relay from under the dash cover on the passenger side. That's the trigger wire for the relay. The problem is the relay that flashes the lights when you lock it with the key fob is the...
Slow progress... Got them sealed up.
Got the relay mounted in the truck. Working on some simple tabs for mounting the ballasts now. Still figuring out what I'm gonna do with the wiring. Auto headlights, halos as DRL, the headlight flash when locking with the key fob, etc.
Thanks fellas. I'm wanting this one to look good. Been out of town and/or sick so haven't gotten much done. I did start to clean up the lights & get them ready to seal. I figured alcohol would be safe to use... :(
I'm not sure what the chrome is made of, but it doesn't like alcohol...
I got my halo rings mounted. The HD something something switchbacks from Diode Dynamics. Has amber turns & 2 different brightness of white (bright for DRL & dimmer for headlights).
Now for the extra support...
First put several coats of epoxy mold release on the projector bodies. Then...
The projectors are pretty front heavy with the glass lens and there's a lot of leverage working on the threaded shaft at the rear. I was concerned that the ABS may eventually loosen up if it was just pinched under the nut, or even the whole adapter be broken away from the bucket with that much...
I sealed up my ballasts today & started installing the wiring harness in the truck so I could test the projector alignment. I'm sure it's going to be good & well within adjustment range, but mostly wanted to check rotation.
But ran into a problem. The connectors for the harness & the...
Test fitting projector:
My shrouds are Apollo 2.0 flat sided. I really couldn't have planned a more perfect fit. They snap on with no twisting or side pressure and sit right up to the back of the bucket. No trimming.
I realize the only thing holding these right now is the...
Finally got started on a HID projector retrofit that I've been wanting to do for a couple years now.
Morimoto mini d2s 4.0
Replica Lightning headlights
First I wasn't sure if these would actually fit. I gather they *can*, but might touch the inside of the cover just barely & cutting some...
295/70 R18 on mine. Measure about 34.5" tall. Fit with a little front valence trimming.

Most likely the unlock relay. There is a different relay to unlock drivers door vs all doors. Look in the 1st gen forum, specifically:
2002 eddie bauer door lock problem... Help!!!

I had something similar happen in the middle of a road trip, but thankfully, the plug actually failed. The center porcelin part shot out of the threaded portion.
The fig newton is a bit of a joke. The center electrode of the plug had stayed behind. Stuck between the 'nut' of the plug and...
I've got them on my '01. Bolted in. I did find that the drivers mirror didn't adjust 'up' quite as far as I'd like. The mirror glass rides on a 3 point adjuster. I shimmed the bottom one with a small washer to get more 'up'. It's obvious what I mean if you have the glass out to look...
On my 2001 had the same issue. The relays are in the CSM? central security module? It's the box under the dash by the drivers feet up on the firewall. It has the default door pad code on a sticker on it. The relays are soldered to the board, but can be removed / replaced easy enough if...
I've had Navi mirrors for a while. Wouldn't go back. Would like to get the power fold feature wired up but haven't yet.
Few pics here, though the driver's mirror is folded...
