it should be a bolt into any body metal with wires connecting to it they should be black, and the o-ring crimp connector has a bent tong to prevent it from moving, Like This
yea but sometimes it feels like 2 maybe 3 cylinders shut down, has no power at all, drops below 400 rpm's. then all i do is shut it off then restart it, that lasts for maybe a day then it does it again.
i was just wondering if a 6speed tranny from a 2007 expy would fit and work in a 97 5.4 2 valve. My uncle has a 2007 explorer sport trac with the 4.6 and the six speed and i really like the performance when towing and fuel economy. perferably the one for the 5.4 or won't it work.

i have a 97 with the pats and i found keys on ebay for $12.00 a piece and i bought 2 so i have a total of 4 keys. My local locksmith cut the keys for me. They even have the ford logo on them, unlike the ones my locksmith would have sold me and they work great like stock blanks.
nah that's my dads 2002 f250 5.4L that i take 4 wheeling twice a month. but the motor is practically the same 5.4 has a longer stroke than the 4.6 that is really the only difference.

and yes the number 3 and 4 and 7 and 8 cylinders are a bitch to get to but can be done with a regular 5/8 sparkplug socketwith extensions as for number 7 coil i used a 1/4 drive knuckle to get to the bolt.
there is a noise in the front end that sounds like a bike chain that hasn't been oiled and i was wondering if any of you know what it could be. i'll try and put a link up for a sound clip tom. if i get a chance.
I just did this in my dads 2002 f250 with the 5.4L, the tc took 30 minutes to drain(damn That was a lot of red) i think it held like 13 quarts of fluid. All we did was drop the pan and took the return off of the cooler and blew compressed air into the line.
I was wondering if any one has put a tranny temp gauge in an a-piller gauge pod. and how did it look. and how many gauges did you put in the pod and what they where.
how do you change coolant on a 97 eddie bauer 4x4, plus how do you get to the inside of the door handle so i can put some led in there to make the handles glow when the inside lights are on.
