Conducted a search, couldn't find anything..
I'm trying to yank out the factory sub and amp so that I can use that space for storage.
I took out the bolts holding in the sub, but how the hell do I get the whole enclosure out?
I think the chrome wheels are enough. Like the others said, too much chrome can easily make a vehicle look cheap and tacky. Your Expedition looks good as it is now. :)
Installation took about 10 minutes. The fuel door doesn't align with the spacer you have to screw it in to, so you've got to force it in. Easy enough, I think it looks good!
Purchased from Ebay for $59.99!
I didn't. I had my keys cranked up all the way to the max and couldn't get it level enough with the rear. But the aftermarket keys I got gave me about an extra inch. (they aren't cranked all the way up)
Just search for your spacers on Ebay. You will probably only get about 2" of lift out of your stock torsion bars, I got about 2.5" with my aftermarket keys. So if your already bulldoggin' I would go with the 3" spacers.
My brother has a 2011 Dodge Ram 3500 Turbo Diesel. It's fully loaded and he loves the damn thing. Air conditioned seats, air conditioned steering wheel, remote start... the whole nine yards. He also claims he gets about 20MPG average...
My buddies got a 2011 F-150 V6 twin-turbo that puts out more horsepower/torque than the V8's.
There's an unproven rumor that goes around saying if you take out the silencers in the turbos you can get 700+ RWHP. He will be trying this once his warranty is over! :hmm:
Other than the winter time it never gets very cold down in NC, and when it does get cold the Expy is garage kept due to me not wanting to freeze my ass off waking up in the morning for work... lol.
Thanks for the advice guys, I like the clear corners a lot. Lately I've been seeing tons of F-150's with them and I've become quite jealous. I will probably order them in the next week or so.
also, thanks for the tips Thermo. Glad to know that I can swap the halogens with LED's. This will...
