Factory Subwoofer and Amplifier

Conducted a search, couldn't find anything..

I'm trying to yank out the factory sub and amp so that I can use that space for storage.

I took out the bolts holding in the sub, but how the hell do I get the whole enclosure out?

HAVE FUNN! i remember reading some where on the EF that theres a hidden screw from the OTHER SIDE holding it in. i dont remember how to get it out though.

NC-Expy, you need to remove the speaker from the enclosure to access a bolt that is in the back of the box. As for getting the enclosure out of the space, you have to pretty much pull all the plastic off on that corner to give yourself room to slide the box out. As for the amp, that is located just forward of the sub box. It is above the hump for the rear tire. That I would tell you to access once you get the sub box out and then reach in through the hole you have just created.

I figured that's what you had to do. Thanks for the clarification. Do you have to pull off the top plastic to get the bottom off as well?

NC, when I accessed my subwoofer area (to add in my custom 0.5 cubic foot box for a 10" sub), I only pulled the corner plastic off up high and then could pull the bottom plastic out into the middle of the truck. From there I could do all the work I needed. Granted, I was having to keep pushing the plastic trim out of the way to keep working. But, it worked for me.
