    I think she's gonna be great for NASCAR. Lots of people don't agree, but she brings some star power and charisma into Nationwide. I'm rooting for her to do well this year.

    Painting Rims

    I actually even applied the plasti dipped on my rims when it was below freezing out. The stuff has stood up on my Expy all year from -40* to +30*.

    I kept mine on, and just masked, but in hindsight, I should have taken them off. It's a lot easier off, but less work on. No jacks needed etc., but lots of masking. I left my lugs chrome and that required masking. But i'm gonna go get something that will just fit over them and pull off easily...

    I know this is an Expy forum.... but I Plasti-dipped my wheels today on my Jeep, and damn it looks good!!!! So we'll see how it holds up...

    And it's 5 bucks a can, and requires no prep or skill. Takes about 5 minutes to dry. I actually want to Line-X it someday but till then, this stuff works perfectly.

    Like I said, mine has been through the mountains, mudding, winter, slush, rain storms, etc. Still all there. The overspray rubs off because you don't do 4 coats of overspray:doh2:.     The moldings were easy to 'dip' because they already are raised off the vehicle, so as you peel the tape away, the dip just slaps into place. It's when you try to make your own edge on a level body part that it gets a little tricky. I did all my moldings on the truck, and just masked the hell...

    It's freaking incredible stuff. I think it will look badass with the silver on your truck. I was just having troubles with it sticking to the tape, and stretching as I pulled it off, but I guess I could have used a razor ever so lightly..... Or just use some pinstripping to make a real clean...

    It would look awesome. Nice matte black. I was gonna do my hood on my jeep, but I just couldn't get a clean enough edge with the masking tape I was using, so I just did a big vinyl sticker instead. Looks pretty cool. Are you doing the whole hood, or just a section? You can see in this photo...
