Well if you plan on doing both that's cool, I just thought it would be more fun to smoke some mustangs in your SUV rather than the taurus. Definitely post whichever one you do, and especially if you do the expy, take lots of pics during it.
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll look into those speakers. I used to have 2 12" Kicker Comp VR's but they got stolen out of my car, so now I'm tryin to add some more bass again but without subs that can be stolen easily.
Black/Pink (+) In the drivers kick panel/door sill harness coming from the rear. I believe the mute wire wants to see a negative, so I wouldn't recommend connecting that to the reverse wire without using a relay to change the polarity.

- Connecting RCA ends as suggested is just asking for noise. Keep some noise filters on hand and use as needed if you experience noise.
- Unfortunately the truck didn't have the factory headphones in the truck for me to test. I'm not sure if they worked correctly or needed some extra...
That's some good info. I'm going to copy it to this site in case that link/site goes bad in the future.
"MOST OF THESE INSTRUCTIONS WILL WORK FOR A LOT OF NEWER FORDS, BUT THE VEHICLE FOR THE EXAMPLE IS A 2004 FORD EXPEDITION! USE ALL INFO AT YOUR OWN RISK I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY...
A lot of people talk about it, but I've never heard of anybody who has actually done it. Definltey don't mess with the taurus, that car isn't worth putting a bigger engine in. If you do do it, the info would be a great addition to this site.
You might get more hp/$ to sell your current...
I don't know anything about air ride since I don't have it, but eibach lowering springs are a good combo of increased handling and keeping ride comfort. They lower your ride about 1.6", if you want to go down the full 2" intrax makes a kit for that. Do you have the stock shocks? If you do then...
I hope you enjoy your new expedition... you'll find that having an SUV is a lot more versatile then a car. I have a audio question for you, what would be a good brand/model of speakers that would fit in the rear doors, and have some cleaner bass then the stock speakers?
Are you using the stock 7.5" wide rim? I don't know if a 285/70 tire would fit will on a 7.5" rim, that's pretty much the upper limit for that rim width. I'm not sure what the stock size is for the 01' but if it's 255/70, then you would have an increase in handling... assuming the tire fits on...
well i actually had to spend $2800 for a refurbished transmission at the ford dealer. I guess it was the electronic contol computer for the transmission went out keeping the converter in the locked position, ultimately eating it up (the converter) causing metal shavings in my transmission. i...
Is there an opening, like for the bulb, where you could use a hair drier to blow hot air into it? If you get rid of the moisture and then it comes back, then you probably have some mold in there.
You're probably right, I just had never heard about it before. Now that the 5.4 is standard, they need to have an optional bigger or supercharged engine.
I don't work on my truck because I don't have any tools or any place to work on it so I've never noticed before. Can the tank and lines be seen from just stooping down and looking under? If so, I'll take a look and let you know.
"The 5.4L Triton eight-cylinder (good for 300 horses and 365 lbs.-ft. of torque) is now yoked to a standard six-speed automatic. As one might reasonably hope for in a vehicle weighing a minimum of 5,500 lbs., enlarged four-wheel ABS-abetted discs are matched with traction control (AdvanceTrac)...
