Do any of you know of a company which makes a rear bumper with a swing out tire rack for the 3rd gens? I've seen a couple rigs with these and would like to have one on my truck but can't find anyone who stocks them. Is it going to have to be a custom build?
I bought a 08 Expedition about a month ago and am working through a few of the little issues it has. Next up is the driver seat. It does not have any horizontal movement. I have looked at it and it doesn't look too difficult to replace. I have the replacement motor already I just wanted to see...
Thanks for the info, I'm going to Les Schwab in the am to have some Toyo ATs in 285/70 17's put on. Hopefully they fit with no problem and Les Schwab isn't too busy, not so sure about that second part though seeing as today has been our first snow with any accumulation this winter.
Thanks! I've been getting frustrated looking for a replacement hitch and was coming up with nothing until I read your post and started looking for it under different names. Found it called a impact bar and the part number from ford is 7L1Z-17906-C. Unfortunately since it is also used as the...
I'm not worried about a wider or taller tire I want a wider and taller tire, I'm worried about rubbing. I want to put 35x12.5/17's on it but I know those wont fit without a lift and different rims for a different offset. So since I can't afford the lift or rims right now but I need new tires I...
I have a 2008 Expedition XLT with stock rims. I'm looking at getting new tires this week and would like to go a little larger than the 265/70/17's that are currently on it. I don't have the money for different rims or for a lift right now. From my brief research I believe 285/70/17's should fit...
I just bought a 2008 Expedition this last weekend and today I realized I missed something when I was originally looking at it, not sure how I missed it but I did. The tow hitch is tweaked! The receiver has been pushed in slightly and the and the main bar for the hitch is buckled. Everything else...
I was planning on upgrading lighting anyways, to include a large led light bar for offroad use, however I really enjoyed being able to keep my fogs on with my high beams in my f350 so I was just hoping someone would know how to do that mod on the expeditions.
Greetings! I just picked up my first Expedition today, 2008 XLT, and I had a quick question about the fog lights. Previously I have owned a 2005 F350 Diesel and there was a mod where you grounded a circuit out in the fuse box if I remember correctly, it's been almost 10 years since I did this...
I'm a true blue Ford guy and have always liked Expeditions but I have also always been a truck with a bed type of guy. Well a wife 3 kids and a possible 4th finally pushed me over the edge and I finally bought my first suv today, a 2008 Expedition XLT with 73k miles. So far I love it and can't...
