    It should be fairly obvious when viewing. The plastic intake manifold has an aluminum runner across the front for coolant crossover so its easy to tell the contrast. If you are questioning it, its most likely aluminum.

    If you want to mount for monitoring different parameters I would suggest going with one of the higher end sct's. I have the X3 which is the older version of the X4 and I cannot see how it could be mounted in an visually pleasing manner. Lol Can't comment on stock tunes as mine is custom.

    To put in nicely they are pointless in modern fuel injection engines. They have their use with carburetor engines (Carb spacers). Possibly even the older throttle body fuel injection but this does not carry over with modern multi port fuel injection.
