it must be nice to have a couple grand to throw into a LT kit. huh? and just so you know. the rear end is linked and is very strong. my buddy used his stock rear end for years before he ever though of putting in longer triangulated links. and no im sorry. prerunner and chase vehicles are two...
orielys, or then kragen. lifetime warrenty. new. and it was pretty cheap at the time. napa was almost twice as much. and when i did change mine, i all ready had new battery terminals on, and i just cleaned the alternator terminal.
this might be funny. but im almost certain its the fuel pump. when im running on low i turn right it dies or almost dies. or facing down hill it dose the same thing. change it and it should clear up.
my stock alt pushed everything just fine. all lights on and the sub bumping in the desert. then again i dont listen to it very loud cause i like to hear the truck working and listen for any weird sounds. but than again. i have a lifetime warranty on the alt. so when it goes out its takes me 45...
or just be like me and buy a lifetime warrenty on the alternator and get a new one every time they go out. not like they are hard to replace!
also sonice has a very good policy. should have called them up and they would have sent you the info for free return and they would have sent you a new...
all ways something isnt it? pismo beach was the same way for a little bit. the dunes were closed cause of a bird that nested there. last day of closer and the environmentalist went to count the bird. 0. not 1 bird. the animals around went and ate the birds. the birds nested there because of the...
get a detroit. no worrys. my uncle has arb front and rear in his jeep. for what ever reason his rear leaks, but seals it self right after. makes no sense.
rear is fine. my buddy has 2" spacers in the rear of his f150. they are on in this video. held up just fine. then he blew up his rear end and his old one back in. haha but they are still fine. and those are 37s.

heres the problem with tru traks. they are pretty much a limited slip. so off road they do good when all tires are touching. but as soon as one tire is in the air, its an open diff. open problem about them. other wise street wise they are great!
personally i would get an arb. that way you can have on board air, but what you want to look for is front drive 8.8. i know people swap in 8.8 in the rear of jeeps, but in the front? idk. should be some out there. but maybe it dosent matter since its a locker. idk.
not that i think about it i had a problem like this one time. out in the desert hit some silt and went to put into 4hi, didnt work, did nothing. turned truck off, back on and good to go. i hate these electronic shifters, rather have the lever.
my buddy loves his detroit. just dont drive like a race car driver on the street and it doesnt lock up. power on the street and none on the turns unless you dont mind chirps. the worst is in parking lots, but its really not that bad once you turn. haha so the rear these are your options. limited...
you know how to put it into 4lo right? shifter in N stop moving, shift to 4lo. hear a clunk and put in D or what ever gear. i would check all wiring, all fuses and if all else fails change the shift motor.
fill the tires up a little more in the front than the back. more weight up front. since it is wearing on both sides. then i would check out all bushings and ball joints. and the cvs. everything. check for cracks, slices, uneven wear on those parts. i would since its about time just replace the...
the 4x4 light comes on for both, then you have a separate 4lo light as well.
and as for my dunes driving i go to glamis. super soft sugar sand. people always look at me weird when they see a tank driving around in just 2wd. haha
