Louisville parking lot watch day 23
23 days since built, 28 since officially entering production, 39 since blend date.
2 delivery windows emailed from Lincoln missed.
My latest theory. I’m complete but I’m parked with the chip hold group. Some day in July, a guy opens the hood of my truck...
Sometimes when you click on the link in the email, the order number and VIN fail to appear.
I find refreshing the window usually brings them back. Easier than going back to the email link and launching another browser window.
If you’re going into production next week, your window sticker may be available.
Add your VIN to the end of this link to give it a try.

I’m at 3. I must be special. The “we parked it in the back of the lot and forgot about it” group.
I’m seriously thinking I got built but I’m parked in behind all of you waiting for chips.
The traffic jam assist is completely hands off. It was strange at first, but now I don’t even think about it.
Definitely something to adjust to. It reduces my stress, but I’m not sure it’s for everyone.
I’m guessing it will be great for stop and go too.
My BMW has “traffic jam assist.” It only functions on freeways/toll ways when speed is slow. I think it kicks in if you stay below 25 mph for a period of time. A message appears on the dash when it becomes available. Once it does, you can go...
6 months ago it looked like I would be able to buy out my lease and then sell to Carvana for a profit. Not sure what changed, but my offer from Carvana today was $2k less than my buy out. Add on taxes and it just wasn’t worth it. I don’t want to hassle with a private sale.
BMW extended my lease for a month even though I’m leaving the brand. I was supposed to turn in my car tonight. Well, I can calm down for awhile. 30 days at least.
By design.
Off topic: My wife and I toured the Edsel and Eleanor Ford house this past weekend. Very interesting. Beautiful house and a fantastic piece of land on Lake St. Clair. Great weekend road trip.
Ford House
So I broke down and called Ford marketing, first time for me.
As soon as they heard it was a Lincoln, they bounced me over to Lincoln.
Lincoln operator said she only has the information I can see in tracker. I explained that folks calling Ford about their Expeditions are getting more details...
Xraytek 22 pinged Cyberdman at Blue Oval. The two of us are both waiting on Navigators built nearly the same time and in the same status.
Cyberdman's info says
Awaiting Shipment - Delay - Convoy Carrier Kentucky Truck, KY Apr-11-2022, 00:00 UTC
So maybe I am built but the shipping is...
Yep, I've been "built" since March 31.
I spoke to my salesman yesterday and he said all that he can tell is I was released from the factory. He cautioned I may still be waiting on a part. Not great. My current lease is up in 3 days.
Well my delivery window has passed and the truck is still in Louisville. Is it really finished and I’m waiting on transport? Or am I really parked on a parts hold? I don’t know. And my dealer doesn’t know either.
Waiting to be built or waiting to be shipped?
I’m starting to wonder if mine was completed but there aren’t enough finished trucks to fill a train so they’re waiting for additional product. I got finished ahead of you, but maybe it’s not actually getting me anywhere.
Navigators will be built without parking assist but the option will be installed by the dealer once the chips are available. FordAuthority says that might be 12-18 months.
Not sure about Start/Stop.
No other deletions that I’ve seen.
Convoy means it will ship by truck, buuuuuut, it will probably actually go by rail. Almost all do. I can see your window sticker if I search for it directly. I can’t see my Navigator sticker using the link on the tracking website either. However, I can find it when entering my VIN directly...
