When you do the spray, do a couple light coats then a few clear coats. Wait for it to fully dry then wetsand with 2000grit, rubbing compound, polish compound, then wax and they'll be as smooth and glossy as glass
Thanks for the input, I'll go to a different exhaust place one of the next few days and see what they say. And about emissions, I also saw a video comparing a leaf blower to a modern pickup (might've been a f150) and the truck actually had lower and cleaner emissions
So panda from what I understand there is an o2 sensor before the first cat then another after the second cat, and by deleting the second cat I won't have any issues with the o2 noticing a missing converter?
I know this has been discussed before and a few of you guys have done it but I'm looking to get a few answers. I went to the shop that did my exhaust a few years ago and asked about either deleting the rear cats or putting a basic cutout between the front and rear cats on each side. I was told...

Not sure what style you're looking for but these are like a simple plastic cover, or you could look into a tinted vinyl such as lamin-x or rvinyl
I used to have cheap ones, mounted the horns on the inside of the bumper valence so one pointed out of each tow hook opening but I painted them black so they weren't noticeable
Was in the process of being towed and the alarm was freaking out so my remote was beeping at me, got to the truck in time before they took it each time. The alarm only cost me like $100 so it basically has already paid for itself
I actually installed mine on my own 3 years ago and havent ever had a problem. It is a knockoff of viper system, has a 2 way paging remote with a dual stage shock sensor and 1/4 mile range. Honestly the hardest part of the install was working up under the dash since there was no room, it was...
Just like everyone else said, you simply take the parking brake sensor wire and ground it. Some headunits I've done need to "feel" the switch of it being engaged so I just put a simple toggle switch with one side going back to the headunit ground. Did this on my kenwood double din and everything...
Well I never push the overdrive button so I'm not sure if that would affect it. And the truck has stock cats with 188k on them with straight pipes from the cats back
So when I am on the highway going at normal speed and let off the gas, the rpms drop and it feels as if it is using engine braking similar to if I dropped the shifter to 2 on the column. The rpms don't jump they drop slightly and the exhaust sounds like engine braking. Any idea what this could be?
Freeway I used to have the same problem with not being able to get the glossy finish, I figured out that what I needed to do was wet sanding. I tinted the tails for my friends blazer then did 3 coats of clear. After that I wetsanded them with 2000 grit until all texture was fully gone. Then used...
Thanks guys, I'm really happy with how it came out. Plus it only cost like 70-80$ total.....that's much better than the quote my friend got for his monte carlo.....375$
So I have pics on my page but recently I redid my headliner in black suede to go along with my black interior conversion. Its really pretty simple if you just take your time and have plenty of space to work. So here's how I did mine
Step 1: remove everything holding the headliner up. Front a...
Back in the day sticker on my 98 eddie baurer was 34k, no idea what my father actually paid. But his 09 black limited sticker was 51k and i think he paid around 45
