    Welcome! I would take it back just for the rattle. You paid for a warranty, make them stand by it. Most techs that work in the back hate rattle issues so they probably just ignored it and just did the 8k service.

    I still have a set of 1st gen Raptor 17s in the garage... When mine comes in I'm going to test fit them but I'm fairly certain they will fit. I'm going to see if I can stuff 35s at stock height with some BFH and trimming til work comes back and I can tackle getting around the CCD and add a lift.

    Personally... if it is just for looks I would recommend the shorter fatter one. It will look more substantial and be further away from the driver seat (noise). But if you are planning on just using it on the factory rails and use a touch car washes having it inside the rails might be nice...

    Might be a good idea to stretch it's legs at least once a week and take the scenic route and do a couple wot runs (when it's up to operation temp). Don't know if it's as true on modern engines but older engines used to like the cob webs blown out every once in a while.

    Jeep has not had a direct competitor for years and has been cleaning up. Their residual values prove it. I don't blame Ford for a second to want in. Especially with all their knowledge they got from building the Raptor. As long as it took them I really hope they got this one right!
