I think the ceramic was enough to ward off any small tree branch scratches. We don’t have the sand/salt stuff down here so there is a lot less debris getting kicked up.

I have ceramic pro on my Jeep Wrangler (painted fenders)...I was backing into a slot a couple weeks and clipped the edge of a good size tree branch....slow speed...barely kissed it...enough to rub the grime & road dirt off the fender...no scratches....I feel certain it would have normally scratched the paint.

As long as it isn’t a sharp object or really hard pressure it can prevent scratching. I nicked the back door with the belt clip for my pocket knife (car next to me larked too close) and it scratched. In the scratching process the coating came off with, it’s a super hard coating no doubt.

If you paid $3500 for a just a correction and a ceramic application (including wheels), I think you got taken. :-(

I paid $3500 for correction, ceramic, wheels, tinting and wrapping 50% of my suv from one of the best shops in my state.

You must live in a cheap state. How much is gas?

You are literally the first person to ever tell me that... I'm 6ft8 so usually I'm fielding Basketball questions and asking why they don't play miniature golf.

@Diverdown
I sure hope it's easy to keep clean.

If you guys were going to dechrome what color would you do? Matte? Thinking a dark copper could work too...?

messing w/ you because of the photo angle/perspective.

gloss copper could be interesting - god knows if you dont like it you just pull it off and re-do it.

personally id go gloss black, the thing is so shiny it would be a shame not to continue/blend the theme

I’ve had black cars before and yes theatre harder to keep clean but totally worth it. Nothing looks better. I’m going all black for my next one.

Nothing screams livery or uber like a black suv.

Purchased this used 2019 Limited 302A with 30,000 miles last week, traded in our 2016 Explorer Sport. We are loving the space so far and the fuel mileage has been looking like it will be better than the Explorer, especially around town! I added Weathertech mudflaps and 3rd row floor liner (1st and 2nd row were already Ford Rubber) and it's scheduled to get tint in a couple weeks. I wanted one with the 302A, Heavy trailer tow, and 2nd row bench and was able to find one within 3 hours of our home! 20200710_212635.jpg 20200622_212020.jpg
