I have the canvas back in my Audi and LOVE it. I will definitely be ordering one for my truck. Highly recommend them. They make every one to order... Don't quote me but I'm pretty sure they will do custom requests like Velcro. I'm going to add some Velcro to the floor attach dog beds. They...
Tune your truck and say it's faster because it's 2-500lb lighter. He will think his "raptor" engine will be able to compensate for the weight. Then spank his ass...
I'd go all out on the Police look. Get some real left lane respect. :cool:
@jmiller Love the OEM+ look...
@gshaw1 Love the blue with the dark wheels! Any plans for it? Are you going to dechrome?
@Tikka Generally when you add sidewall the ride gets more comfortable/forgiving. As for the...
@duneslider I will definitely be getting some of those. They sound like a great quick solution! The icons are spendy but they are not only height adjustable but also shock dampening so all it would take is a twist of the dial when loading up. Considering they were designed for the Expedition...
Its so pathetic to see someone do the "never back down" shtick even when faced with facts. :deal:
Quite a build you have there, these 2.0Ts are quite something. I currently I'm sitting with all the bolt-ons on the intake side waiting to burn up at least 3/4 of the warranty before I tune it...
Sometimes you want to stick to your own crusty sheets instead of someone else's while enjoying the silence of no cell service, wifi, other people's children and of course karen who is yelling that they ran out of plates on the all you can eat buffet. To each their own... :fishing1:
You are correct, its going to sag some no matter what, I just want to minimize it. If I have to buy a WDHitch for just the heaviest one I'm ok with it. I'd just rather not buy one for all of them. Most of them are in the 5-6k range and I can manipulate the tongue weight by moving the weight...
They are definitely on the options list... Hopefully the Expy ones bolt right up. That will probably be the first thing I do as its the most cost effective...
Don't have the truck yet, just getting a feel for what my options are in case as all our other tow rigs are 2500/3500 rams and I will be approaching max tow limits on our bigger cranes. The Navis have a lower tow rating and I can only assume it is due to the softer suspension. I used my boss's...
When was the last time it was aligned? It really sucks there isn't an "Individual" setting where you can manually set the trans, suspension, steering etc...
Not that I would ever condone putting bulbs that put out 2x-10x the light output into the same housing, it sounds like you could use some capacitors. The LEDs should be using significantly less power than a halogen ever would. Maybe there is a quick dip in voltage as the engine turns off...
Yup, its all brands... luxury or not. I have had the best overall luck with Infiniti but I know they are really hurting at the moment so no idea how long that will last. I used to drive over an hour each way to have my R32 serviced. Totally worth it, I went from being belittled for asking a...
Agree with above but the Armada and Sequoia as with the current GMs is that they are all a generation (or two) behind. Ford is losing money because the entire industry is slowing (more reliable cars in general and a slowing economy for a majority of Americans). They also gave up on all their...
@rs4-380
So you were unable to run hub centric spacers because of the wheels or you chose to not use them?
I have a set of gen1 Raptor wheels I plan to test fit when my truck gets here. But unfortunately that won't be for 5 weeks or so...
Don't have a choice... Navigator.
Reason for swapping is I will most likely need to go stiffer as I will be towing 8000lb regularly. I also prefer the ride on the expy to the floaty Navi. Nobody has made airbags for us yet and the only adjustables (stiffness) are ICONs.
I'd make the dealer fix that... It will eventually cause issues if it rains there as much as it does here... Take pictures to document it happening multiple times...
I'll keep you in mind!
They are pcoated gun metal and I plastidipped the spokes when I had them on the raptor. Came out well... The PDip lasted about 40k miles too. Was really impressed, even took them through the car wash a few times and never skipped a beat.
Does your truck have CCD?
Anyone know if the Icons will work with trucks that have CCD? Does anyone make shock replicators to make the system think there are still CCD shocks installed? Or can we stop the truck from looking for them with ForScan? Anyone replace their CCD shocks with something...
Look at lease numbers first... This is one of the lowest depreciation vehicles on the market. Or that was the projection when they first came out. Pretty sure you could get them in the 300/month range.
@Artie
Any luck getting some ATs mounted up on the Navi? I will be following in your...
