See at 3k miles my wife's is below 5%. I was told to do the oil change next time and send oil of to ne checked. But I know nothing about that or what the fees are. So I'm just going by the truck.

My oil life went from 100% to 5% barely 3k miles. So if there's a issue I wanted dealer aware of it. I started a thread called "short oil life" I've read on here about some going 10k plus miles before oil life monitor says to change. Since I've owned my truck we've put about 11k miles on it in...
You can get the motocraft synthetic blend at wal*mart pretty cheap. That's what I'd use if changing myself. I did the 1st oil change on mine, but since have taken to the dealer.

I messed with the HVAC options with no luck. Although everything seams to work, weather related. Ac in summer and heat in winter. Even noticed the rear defrost works, not sure if it's always on during winter remote start or not. But most likely is always on. All I did was enabled remote start in...
That's definitely worth looking into. 100 would only be 4 sets, with 4 left over. But if you could find someone else needing the same size it would be a nice split.
I wanna try and contact mcgard, to see if a impact voids there warranty. If so there's no sense in spending extra money on them...
I think almost anything with a exposed lug nut is made this poorly. I'm glad my 2 older chevys have solid lug nuts hidden behind a plastic beauty ring. No issues at all on a 17yr old car, but my model 2017 Ford has alrdy had issues!

From what I see the linked gorilla nuts only come with a one year warranty. And the mcgard lug nutts have a life time warranty. The box for gorrilla says lifetime but in there warranty fine print it only covers for a year on stuff like rust. I'm gonna research some more, but if mcgard is truly...
@cooldude919
One more question, does the factory lug wrench fit the new Gorilla nuts? I see it says 21mm socket, but no idea what OEM ones are.

Do you have a link to the ones you purchased? I had mine replaced once at dealer. But they put the same pos ones back on. Recommended driven products, but there like $160 a set, but includes 4 lockers.

You say your shit last, does that mean you bought all those new? I've only purchase 2 new vehicles in my life, and one new quad.

There's a large thread here on forscan. But you will need windows, or I ran boot camp on my mac book and installed windows on a partition. The forscan software will work on multiple vehicles. Also on your 2016 you can unlock remote start, if you dont alrdy have it.

@hawkman71
Your GMC truck lane change is 5 flash, what year is it? My gm work car is a 2016 cruise and it's only 3 flashes. Which was the same as my 17 expy, until I changed it to 5.

Wow didn't realize I did this back in 2018! Also the thread I followed to add the remote start.

Yeah I added the remote start to my 2017 as well with keys from amazon, around $45 I think. Then enable it with forscan. No need to buy a kit when truck alrdy has it.
