    ROFL... god i hate those damn window motors the f-bodies have.. Best thing to do is get one from autozone that has a lifetime warranty on it so whenit goes out (usually 6-8 months) they replace it for free. :D

    I guess i havent updated this thread with pics of the kit primered.. I'll try to do so this weekend but as faras getting it installed not sure when that will happen but i will have to look at some shops for price quotes and quality paint.

    Doesn't anyone else think that 420k on a tranny that hasn't been rebuilt yet is amazing? All i can say is wow and hope mine lasts thats long.

    Investing in a manual is the best bet here. If wil come in handy. Im not familiar with the CD versions but i imagine they would be just as good, and you can probably print off a page instaed of carrying a book with you.

    Are you absolutely sure that the motor is seized or did the stealership just try to pull a fast one on you? When you say that the gauges went all nuts when you tried to start it, that sounds like a bad alternator/battery. That's a typical symptom when those are going out. $8,000 for motor ...

    Even if you do have the air suspension there are conversion kits that will convert your air ride to the coil/springs if you want to go that route. Not sure what the cost would be...

    The pics used to work before without having a photbucket account. For some unknown reason the only way to post a pic is to link it through a hosting site like photobucket.. Dont know why its like that but thats how it is for me and quite a few members.

    Sometimes the slamming trick works, sometimes it doesn't Glad it worked for you but keep an eye on it, your window motor could be on its last limb.
