Could be the master window switch as huklebuk suggested. My wife's Exploder (explorer) had the same problem, i checked the switch first, i took it out and took it apart to clean it and it had some debris/crap in it. I cleaned it out and then everything worked but im not sure if this is the same...
Yes sir, open the liftgate .. see the strap thats attached to the lifgate? remove the 2 screws. The panel is easy to take off, it just snaps off but take your time so that the plastic clips that hold the panel in place dont break. If they do break you can pick some up at like home depot or...
No, slamming "trick" wont work on the rear wiper... When my wiper stopped working i had to replace the motor. I would check the relays and fuses under the hood for the motor since it has been replaced twice from the previous owner. It may end up being a fuse or relay or even a short/bad ground...
Your MAF is on the stock rubber intake, unplug it from the intake and clean it using MAF cleaner that you can buy at any auto parts store.
To clean your throttle body, disconnect your intake and set it to the side. You will want to open the "butterfly" thats inside the throttle body as your...
Careful about the greek thing ( see avatar) just joking.
Many factors come into play here. When was the last time you had service done on the truck and what was done to it?
Are you experiencing hesitation? bad idle?
As for the tranny i would have it checked out by a local tranny shop...
I dont have any new updated pics but here is my old setup i had before it got stolen a month ago.... i had the box made at a local stereo shop, tell them what you want and they will measure and build it. Oh btw i paid 300 just for the box without any holes cut out or carpet on it. I did the rest...
I was finally able to get my subs and amp replaced. I had a box made to hold 4 10" subs to fit behind the 3rd seat. Some of you may remember that i had 3 10's before. The longest time it took me was the sanding down of the 10" hole to make the subs drop right in and of course the vinyl which...
Good to know.. I have heard from several people with 20's, 22's and they have told me that it made the ride bouncier, maybe they meant rougher... Wonder how the ride will be on 26's hmmm
Im with you on that one.... When the kids start acting up in the truck and saying "are we there yet every 30 minutes, i throw in a movie and they are glued to the T.V's and i dont hear a peep out of them till the movie is over, then i just put another one on. LOL
Just remembered sometimes on different vehicles when the window motor starts to go, if you shut the door really firm ( like almost slam it) the window will work if you try this and your window works after that its your motor. Just keep in mind that if it does work after that it will be a temp...
Any "known" name air system will be a benefit for your truck. I run a K&N 77 series intake and it even improved my gas mileage a little bit. You will also notice a more crisp throttle response throught the RPM range. A throttle body spacer IMO is only good for a paperweight. Now for the Mass...
You can do it yourself. It's a 5 minute job. If you dont have the tool you can pick it up at any of the autozone's, advance etc... all you do is stick the tool in the tensioner pulley turn it, slide the old belt off and slip the new one on. Just make sure you follow the routing diagram...
