Anyone install a cargo area lock switch in their Expy?
My old '96 Explorer had a power lock switch back in the cargo area and my 1998 Expedition doesn't. Having that switch was really convenient so I've decided to install one, but I'm curious if anyone has ever done this before? I searched the forums but didn't find anything useful...- WECole

Lightening the load - bumper replacements?
Has anyone replaced (or seriously considered/reasearched) replacing the stock steel front/rear bumpers with something lighter to help improve gas mileage? New group: West Coast Expeditions

Painting the sidesteps?
I'm going to black plasti-dip the tan trim on my Expy once the weather warms up a bit more but I'm not sure what to do about the sidesteps.. they're in good shape but have been out in the weather for 14 yrs and have that slightly faded look to them. Electrical issue with dash indicators and shifting?

Fixed: No turn signals or hazard lights
Thought I'd pass my experience on to others... I let my wife drive my (ok, "our") Expy and suddenly the turn signals aren't working. (They did the night before.) I ran across a post BakerEdition left back in Nov about a similar problem and his suggestion to adjust the steering wheel up higher...- WECole
