03' 5.4L, What Superchargers are available?

Joezek...for what its worth, my wife and I are starting the Eaton install on her 04 Expi next week. Picked up all the parts for the Lightning swap for about $2500 (some new, some used). Can use the original Expi computer but will need a custom tune. Will do a thorough write-up with pics...

    New tranny...YEA!

It was actually my wife's idea to go supercharged...per se. She was looking for more power and I ran across a post on the F150 boards talking about using the Lightning superchargers on the non-aspirated 5.4L 2Vs. Her 04 Expi is the last year of the 2V motors so we decided to try the Lightning...

04 Eddie Bauer Wheels and Tires

Have a set of 4 2004 EB wheels and tires for sale. TPMS sensors have been removed. All 4 wheels are free of curb rash. 3 of the tires have some tread and 4th tire is almost new. $200 gets all 4.

    New tranny...YEA!

About 2 months ago, my wife's transmission took a dump. In prepping the Expi for a Lightning supercharger, I wanted a tranny that I knew would handle it. Tranny shop wanted $2500 to rebuild the stock unit and only replace what was needed. Found some guys down the road called Monster...

Alright guys...who is doing the conversion first?? As soon as I get my wife's supercharger installed and then get mine installed (my wife ROCKS!), the front-end conversion will be next. I'm dying to see a write-up on this!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE someone...get your conversion done so I can...

    Electric Fans?

Although a little pricey at $465, my plan was to install the Flexalite 270 (same kit used in the 97-2003 F150s) kit in my wife's 04. However...in Ford's infinite wisdom, they used the 4.6L radiator setup (downflow) in my 5.4L Expy. 4.6L radiator, aside from being a downflow vs crossflow, is...

07+ Front End Conversion on 03-06 Expedition ??

Stopped by my local Ford body shop the other day and it appears the only significant difference is the header panel itself (piece that holds the headlights). Up through 06, the header panel bolts to but IN FRONT of the radiator core support. On the 07+, it bolts to the TOP of the radiator core...

    Lift Question

Finally got my wife's Expi up in the air for some pics of the dual exhaust. Hard to see the two pipes going over the rear so I did a before and after the rear end.

07+ Front End Conversion on 03-06 Expedition ??

Gents...spoke with a dude yesterday at LKQ chain of salvage yards about this swap. He agreed that as long as the radiator core supports matched between the 03-06 and the 07+, the rest of the parts should bolt up just fine. Now...I'm guessing there may be a few holes or whatever that don't...

    Swap to newer front-end

Thanks for the link Expedition. I searched several parameters here before posting and nothing came up on this. I will definitely be doing some research on this. I really believe this is a bolt on swap. Can't imagine Ford made THAT many changes to the Expi shell between those years.

    Swap to newer front-end

Alright...so my wife has a 04 Expi EB and REALLY likes the look of the 07 Expis. Using good old fashioned eyesight as a measuring tool, the two front-ends look like they would be interchangable. Looks like the 04 fenders will work with the 07 lights, would just need the hood, headlights...

    Lift Question

Very restrictive indeed. That muffler REALLY opens things up...and has one hell of sound when you get on it. Relatively quiet otherwise.

    Lift Question

Rptr00, The dual-in/dual-out Magnaflow mufflers have a built-in X-pipe so an external one was not needed. With regard to the tailpipes, I did have to step down to 2.25" pipe to make it all go around. Will get some pics next week and try to get them on here. nvycrmn...

    Lift Question

Just wanted to chime in here real quick. Just finished installing the TRUXX 3/2 lift on my wife's 04 Expedition an it really made a difference. Definitely recommend it. As for the "true dual exhaust", just did that as well. I boughta Magnaflow dual-in/dual-out muffler and had a muffler...
