I dont have the code for my keypad. The owners manual says it on the PCM (I think). I'm assuming they mean they mean the computer/brainbox? Anyhow, where is that located at?
I'm getting a slight shudder/vibration just before the gears change when I hold the pedal to the floor. It doesnt matter if I'm just taking off, or if I hammer it while running 55 mph. It almost feels like running over a mild set of rumble strips. I drained the transmission pan and the torque...
Your key fob is programmed for the driver. When you unlock the doors with the fob, it reverts to the memory settings. The owners manual has instructions on how to disable this feature. Or you can reprogram it to adjust for your settings. It's all in the owners manual.
Could be a few things. Thermostat could be bad, heater core could be clogged, or the blender door could be stuck. I would start with the easiest - replace the thermostat. Then again, I dont know much about these Expys and the thermostat might be hard to change...these are just opinions.
I've seen alot of Expys that seem to sag in the rear, what causes that? I'm sure bad airbags is one reason, but mine is saggin and it doesnt have the air ride. It seems like all of the weight is on the front, and that would make the front sag more.
My 01 4wd seems to sit a little low in the rear, probably a few inches. Is it easier to lower the front, or raise the rear. It does not have airbags under it.
The leather in my 01 EB Expy 4wd is worn out. No rips or tears, just wear from being 10 yrs old. I'm looking for some seat covers that only cover the seat, and not the back rest. Not really sure if such a design exists. The backrest's on my seats still look new (almost).
I never had success with the WD-40. I used some Dupont silicone spray that I bought from Lowes. Took about a day and a half to work, but I havent had the problem to return. Just dont forget to hit the rear door & window also.
My cousin has a 99 Dodge ram, and he coated his slotted taillight covers, fender flairs, bug shield, and rocker panels with the herculiner.....it looks really good.
