looks good to me. I cant see the front rake you mentioned. I still cant believe you have no rubbing. Mine rubbed pretty bad on the running boards and front bumper when turning. Guess it being 4WD must have made a difference.
did u use an x-pipe before the muffler. I have heard that you need to do that cause the pipes are different length. I am suprised they had room to run 2 pipes on the same side, my single 3 inch was a bear by itself. Love to see pics if you have them too!
not sure of your reasons for wanting extra fuel...
I would mount the spare in the rear cargo area similar to the excursion, the open space under the vehicle could house a race style fuel cell. I have seen as small as 4 gallon tanks up to 16 gallon.
guess it depends on why you need it and...
nope. its about the same.
if flowmaster is what you want then try a 50 series SUV or 70 series. Go to their website and look at the charts they have, it shows you by model the interior/exterior noise levels by comparison of all of their models.
keep in mind the super 44 is shorter, so the shop will have to add an extension pipe to make it fit properly.
BTW, I had one of those on my last SUV and had tons of interior resonance. I think it was louder in the cab than outside the vehicle! I think around 35-40MPH was the where the...
sounds like a good deal on the tuning.
my wife mostly drives the expy. she didnt like the idea of 35's but when I got them and put them on she liked it. Funny thing is she is against tuning. She calls it "viagra" for the car!
well thats going to depend on several factors such as type of programmer (canned or custom), exhaust setup, etc...I would say 30 to 40HP.
Definitely going to feel it on the butt dyno!
I checked out the OE wheels for 07-08 expy's and found them to be 17x8. If you can post a pic of the style you have it would help. See this link for the 2 styles that are 17x8 http://www.lakeshorewheelandtire.com/cgi-bin/Web_store/web_store.cgi
As far as a lift goes, I have the truxxx setup...
When I was car shopping last year, I test drove an 06 with 305 45 22. Its a nice look. Fills the wheel wheels quite well and has a decent amount of sidewall on the tire. I really didnt notice any issues braking or accelerating with them. The ride was not harsh at all. My vote is for 22's on...
thanks for the compliment.
Well, its about 90 degrees outside right now and it rolls down nice and quiet. Its only when its cold and only the drivers front window. Oh well, summer is pretty much here so I guess it goes to the back burner til winter.
yes there are scratches that were there when I purchased it used last year. Where is the rubber arrea that you mentioned that was folding over? Inside the door or on top where the panel meets the window? I can see nothing unusual with the door panel installed
Having an issue with the drivers front window. During cold weather when I roll it down, I get an awful loud squeaky sound. It doesnt happen when rolling up. It seems to have started around the time I had the window tinted although that was when the weather turned cooler too.
Anyone have...
Coming from someone who has been down this road recently...the only regret your going to have is the price of those 20" tires. 33 or 35 they are expensive. I stepped down to 17 for this reason.
It will be interesting to see an EL with 35's!
good pics
I misunderstood the y-pipe mod. I thought they fixed the area where it crushes together. I know you can buy y-pipes from magnaflow and flowmaster that fix the problem, I think they run about $30.
