I just washed my 2007 Eddie B and the only thing thats annoy me is this:
One of the windows sills has this strange defect seen in pic below:
I have seen some after market trim bits on the web... like this for example:
Chrome
Is it junk/looks like shit in reality or is it an good...
Sweet Jesus! There is no limit!
Edit: A Motörhead war dog to match my tattoo would be nice...

Hehe... i just pasted the numbers from the Mac dash board converter :emotions36: and got the (.) and (,) wrong... obviously ;_)
But the toilet... i could have killed for that when i got stuck in rush hour yesterday...
Due swedish regulations im only allowed to pull 1653,467 pounds (!)... some stupidity because of the Expeditions total weight.
I will only use the hitch when im moving garbage to the waste separation facility.
So... im thinking of making it detachable and put something more fun in place...
Finally a got the opportunity to lend a friends car lift (and his expertise!)
We just removed the muffler and heat shield (not easy to reach the bolts!) and removed the clamp. A small hole (salt corrosion?) could be identified.
Cleaned the line and used a cutter. Mounted the Dorman 800-640...
I bought my 2007 expy this spring, and I realized that i haven't touch the 2-4w knob yet! I fiddle with it and the it was noticeable when the that it was working when I turned to 4H (short test). So far so god, I'm prepared for muddy autumn and snowy winters.
But shouldn't it be some form of...
Good to hear... -30F is very rare at my latitude, you have to move up to the northern parts of sweden for these temps!
And yes... I have a block heater. Fortunately, the previous owner had that and the optional heated front seats option when he bought it new in californa :-)
I look forward to a...
Im wondering how the Expedition gen 3 cope with hard winters.
Can the optional rear climate system provide enough heat? With the lines going outside beneath the frame?
Here in Sweden, in my area, the temperature is often down to 5 ºF can fall to -4 ºF and even lower shorter periods.
Real life...
I got under the car today and managed both to take a pic and some measuring.
15.5 (roughly) mm will match 5/8 i suppose.
One of the wider tubes seems to be leaking, and the clamp is the villain!!
If i guess... could it be the low pressure return who is leaking, and the other two is for heat.
I...
I found the leak in the rear A/C lines, near the muffler.
I think I'm gonna try to mount a line splice, like this:
AirSept/3/8 in. o.d. line splice kit for A/C, heater, transmission and power steering line repair - Do not use on brake or fuel lines (76002) | Line Splice | AutoZone.com
But...
I decided to give the girl some rust protection treatment.
The frame looks rather nice now... hopefully it will look that way even some years from now ;)
Final report for this evening, after a very wet party with my old sailor friend, i decided that this problem is only material... i have travelled without ac before... cheers to you all!
Still no sign of further leakage... and the I checked the old stains on ground. They had dried up... but the rag looked a bit yellow/green perhaps.
I will take a longer trip tomorrow and monitor the level.
Its shit to have a malfunction AC when the summer, for once, is hot in Sweden :D
I replaced my extra reverse tail lights to a sleeker halogen model with real glass. The original reverse lights is not valid in Sweden, and you must have extra lights mounted.
Im pleased anyway...
Now i get confused... no problems with the brakes when I took a trip for shopping. No drops on the parking space. I placed some newspaper strategical when i arrived home again. Still no sign of leakage.
...but the A/C has stopped working.
Is it coolant lines that i see at the frame beside the...
I just noticed small pools of something that could be brake fluid (clear oil) in front of left wheel... near the muffler. I crawled under for a look. The metal lines that vanish up were a bit smudgy. But not much. I have not removed the wheel yet to inspect. Could it be a loose connection? But...
