I just noticed small pools of something that could be brake fluid (clear oil) in front of left wheel... near the muffler. I crawled under for a look. The metal lines that vanish up were a bit smudgy. But not much. I have not removed the wheel yet to inspect. Could it be a loose connection? But shouldn't it be dripping somewhere nearer the wheel instead?

This is not what i want to happend just now... I'm gonna take a 750 mile trip with the wife and dogs to a race next weekend :-(
The brake fluid is at maximum. i cleaned the lines and will take a short trip today and inspect again.

Now i get confused... no problems with the brakes when I took a trip for shopping. No drops on the parking space. I placed some newspaper strategical when i arrived home again. Still no sign of leakage.

...but the A/C has stopped working.
Is it coolant lines that i see at the frame beside the muffler... could explain some of the mystery
(im new to Expys)

I had a brake fluid leak on a caliper for about 6 months. Brakes never faded and I just filled the fluid up when it was low. Pump the brakes with the truck off to build pressure and see if you can see any fluid actually leaking from the area.

Still no sign of further leakage... and the I checked the old stains on ground. They had dried up... but the rag looked a bit yellow/green perhaps.
I will take a longer trip tomorrow and monitor the level.

Its shit to have a malfunction AC when the summer, for once, is hot in Sweden :D

Haha A/C is a luxury! Mine has never worked since I had the truck. Windows down every where I go in the summer. Best of luck on the trip!
