    2016 Exp - Replacing Battery Clamp

    The battery has a crack around the post...it is not sealed. Thus the corrosion. All the vehicles in my list below with the exception of the '84 Jeep has the original OEM clamp/cables from the factory.

    Fluid Film annually. Very effective in rust prevention. Many DOT and municipalities use it on their vehicles. Dealerships offer the service as well as independent shops. We have the capabilities to self spray it and buy in 5 gallon pails.

    We run Anco on everything. On my '16 Expy 91-22 or 31-22 both work well just like OEM, also have RainX treatment on all the glass.

    Front window tint is asking for a Po Po stop. In our state anyway, front tint is illegal. License plate lights...why would you want them lit up like a billboard? Just my $.02

    2017 Water Leaks

    My '16 & '04 dry as a bone. The '06 always leaked a little on the driver's A post. None of the vehicles have a sun roof. I learned back in the early '80s that sun/moon roofs and T tops are nothing but trouble and are to be avoided.

    If it was me, I would swap out the engine with a Ford remanufactured engine. I did that a few years ago on my '95 F350 and the buyer of my '06 Expy did the same.

    how can i lock the vehicle with engine running and walk away with key

    My '04 works the same way, push the start button on the key fob and it stays running with the key removed. I wish the '16 did as well. Unfortunately I have to shut it off and remote start when I get out to run in someplace.

    BP is also my choice of fuels, we have company cards for BP, Shell and Mobil. All my vehicles have K&N air filters.

    Do you take the time intervals into consideration when changing oil?

    3,000 miles no matter of the time or oil minder %. If the mileage is racked up in 3 months or 3+ years, never an issue with any of our vehicles.

    My '16 Expy I only run Top Tier fuel such as Shell Premium or Mobil since the day I drove it off the lot. I like the all around engine performance that makes up for the missing 2 cylinders. Makes the truck fun to drive.
