    Just bought a 2000

    Keep the air suspension, the ride is fantastic. A new compressor is $219.00 the rear air bags are $300.00 both at O'Rielly's the front air shocks are $119.00 each at NAPA and all of it is an easy install.

    All of your air vents through the compressor, you need a new one, I just went through this on mine.

    The line for the rear washer is in the headliner. If the line separated from the sprayer nozzle, it should leak out of the bottom if the rear hatch........

    Put her in park, start her up and slowly rev the engine up to around 2,000 rpm, if she starts knocking, you have a rod bearing out. Happened to me, $1,400 to replace all rod and main bearings.

    I had the problem, it is a coil misfire. Go to Summit, get the MSD Ford blaster coils and change them all.

    Do you have a speaker on the right side in the rear? Should be next to the jack cubbyhole. Mach is the premier sound system. If you have it, the two front door speaker covers will be marked with Mach. If they are, you should have an amp just foreword of the rear most right speaker.

    Bought a full set of Granetelli Steet Fighter coils 21-2001-SF for my 1999 5.4L. Worst mistake I have ever made regarding the Expedition. Constant misfires on multiple cylinders, terrible customer service, and over $900 in diagnostics. Avoid Granetelli.

    Bought a new air suspension compressor, two rear bags and two front shocks. I have an air leak somewhere in the front. Where is the tee-fitting that's supposed to be around the brake booster? I can't seem to find it........

    1999 Expedition, Eddie Bauer edition, 5.4L, 171,000 miles, new motorcraft plugs, new Granetelli street fighter coils, just changed the oil with Motorcraft 5-30 and a Motorcraft filter. Went out to jump start my sons Pontiac and as I got to around 1,800 RPM the Expedition started to knock, not...

    Air suspension troubles.............

    The sensors will take about 10 minutes to replace, look like little shock absorbers. I assume the o-rings are on the rear bags? If so, jack her up, pull the air line and electrical and the bag comes right out.
