New coils..........

I need a set of new coils for my '99 5.4L and I found a set of eight on ebay for $61.00 they're from a company called 'Araparts" has anyone tried these coils? I really liked the price and the come with a lifetime warranty.........

I have used 2 sets off ebay so far since I have owned the truck.
The first set lasted about 4 years 45,000 miles.
I just put the second set on last month and they are doing just fine.
Ford can keep their $600 ones!!!!!! just my .02

I have a set from UNEEK on ebay and have also installed a set on my friends truck from Globalautomotive on ebay too... both lasted and were a hell of a lot cheaper than fords...

I like the Granatelli hot street coil. Ebay 276.00 +or - a few $. With a hotter coil you will also get a lot better combustion and improve power and fuel economy

Glad it worked out for you check your MPG they should go up and a lot better throttle response
