The 4x4 fuse may be out as well its just a thought and my truck has the same code so ill look into that but I'm going to change my tcase out for a 4407 manual shift with my new 5 speed hopefully some time soon
Yeah I kinda figured that but didn't hurt to ask maybe some one knows... I learned that it never hurts to ask because you guys all really know your stuff on these trucks
So I went to the junk yard the other day Saturday it was to get a new heater and the donor truck was smashed on the inside of the fire wall so that sucked 3 hours wasted but not the point, on the f150s is the frame from expy to f150 the same? in a perfect theory I could just take the leaf...
its just a little k&n filter from orileys that i stuck in the oil fill hole and it seemed to of stopped my truck from randomly sputtering so im happywith it haha
I want to save up to get a newly rebuilt one then have it sent to be ported larger and then cams and a supercharger on top just because its possible and I want to caus why not
The crank breather just goes on where the oil fill cap does it stopped my truck from low speed sputtering so I'm going to leave that on and so basically I shouldn't mess with this motor anymore and just save to build the DOHC I want in the truck?
I have a K&N 77 series intake and summit racing ignition coils and a crank breather with some e3.53 spark plugs and I'm going to get a new MAF and an throttle body spacer and probably a new thermostat so my truck will run cooler
My friend has an 04 F150 with hand crank and I just lean to roll them down but I can use the inside of the door as storage with out wires and stuff... The expedition is going to be come a bade bones straight axle 5 speed off road monster when I'm done
Does a "Performance" MAF really make a difference or is it a waste of money I was looking at the Jet performance and the Summit Racing ones and I'm just curious as to is it really makes a difference. Thanks guys!
Does anyone know if I could put hand cranks in the expy? I plan on removing the door skin and replacing it with a piece of diamond plate and for those of you who have read my other posts I like manual everything so that's my reasoning behind the swap and caus my window motor is dying
sam rider and southern expy both did a leaf spring swap..... im hopefully going to get plate steel soon but havent been able to find anything local thats not dimond plate i have been hunting craigslist fot 1/4" plate steel to make my bumpers for months and still no luck... i have to make frame...
I want a leaf spring lift and the manual locking front hubs so I and eventually get a DOHC 5.4 with a supercharger I want to have the deep gears and wider axles for the look I like and caus its more solid than ifs
I wanna run a Dana 60 front end on leaf springs and a Sterling 10.5" rear end on leaf spring too and a ZF5 manual transmisson any ideas to a transfer case setup could i just use a BW 4406 manual shift or do I need a heavier t case with the larger axles. Thanks Guys!
