I work for Kenworth Trucks and thats all I see is 15-40.I use 15-40 in my old f150 that has 272,000 on it.Rotella I think is your best bet in 15-40.Delo 400 is the other that is common in the heavy duty world. My f150 has a few seeping seals.I think I will go to a high mile oil with seal sweller...
I had a Jeep that rattled at start up.It was the STP oil filter. The anti drain was not working in the filter. That is when I learned not to buy $1.99 filters.
Changed the oil for the first time.A little seafoam in the oil and let her idle for a bit.Put in 5w30 Motorcraft blend and a Motorcraft filter and stp oil treatment.Bought a very nice Sound Garden cd for the cd player.lol.
Took her to the car wash.Checked all her fluids.Even used a hydrometer on the coolant.I have owned her for 5 days now.Checked out the 6 disc cd player.Put in some skynyrd,Stevie Ray Vaughn,Creed,Travis Tritt. It sounded amazing.Felt like I was 16 again.lol
