Where is the clogged sound coming from? I assume it’s coming from one of your a/c vents but not a good idea to assume anything. Can you record the sound it’s making on your cell? Did it just start or has it been going on for awhile?
Checked the link that edistobob posted above...good scanners but price is a tad much. Hope you, 377th, find a fix without going to a Ford dealership to get it right. Good luck....
Wow......we only live like 25 miles apart. We live in Kingsportish area. Does the boss brake with left or right foot? Yea, the ladies are hard on brakes and when I taught her to drive at 16 I told her to never brake with the left foot, which can cause problems over time for the brakes. Good...
Actually I would love to live in Canada with all the good fishing and hunting!! The people there are super nice and if I weren’t the age I am, I would be there pronto........
Well, could be just an American thing too....noticed you live in a Kingdom so the dealerships are sending all their proceeds to the King and Queen instead of sending a card/phone call to a good client...they are bad people. By the way Happy BD....
So my ‘18 should be fine to get the inside fit wind deflectors since the sensor is “less sensory” on the 18s and up?? Member mquick5 says they won’t work on 18s.....just trying to uncover the truth before I buy the deflectors.......
Sending a birthday card or calling on your birthday is SOP for most all dealerships, across multiple brands. Got a letter from my salesman reminding me to use all three of my complementary oil changes within the first year......it’s costing Ford so I was somewhat surprised to get that letter...
There are many things on a vehicle that work fine one day and crash and burn the next. Water pump, thermostat, spark plugs and wires, batteries, a/c compressor, drive belt, alternator, just to name a few. You can put it on a lift and all looks well one day but next day comes and the water pump...
Lefty Lucy.....rightee tightee.....is a very good quote so a person doesn’t forget how to tighten or loosen a nut, bolt, or screw. Works 99.9% of the time.
Prior to 1965 VW Bugs ran on a six volt system with a generator. In 1965 they were converted over to a 12 volt system. That one change made the price go up to $1,999.00. People thought that was outrageous......lol
Yea that’s the man I was thinking of, just couldn’t remember his name. The 283 cam was a big deal if you were rebuilding small block Chevy engines back then. There are people out there that are still looking for the Chevy 302 small block engine to put in their rebuilds.
The built in Child Safety Lock would work by not letting the kids open the doors but then you still have the problem of walking halfway around the Expy to open the doors on both sides.
I can still see those Chevy vans and VW vans going down the road maxed out with plywood and shag and bubble or sliding/pop out windows. Can anyone confirm that the cam for the 283 was made in Germany and was the cam to have if you were doing a rebuild? Just wondering...
