    Dull Headlights

    I restored my headlights but still the low beam lights weren't bright enough. I didn't know that the bulbs get dimmer as they age. Though they either worked or they didn't. I bought new bulbs and it made quite a difference. Passing this along because it may help someone else.

    I have that same color interior in mt EB and the steering wheel is leather. Get yourself a good leather cleaner and it should clean up fine. I cleaned mine and it looks great.

    It sounds like the vehicle is in very good shape and was taken care of. This would make it worth more than the book value. Expeditions are great trucks.

    Wind noise ... how to find source?

    I've had success stopping wind noise by getting my gloved fingers behind where the gaskets bend and pulling them outward. It may not solve this issue but definitely helps with wind noise.

    Any Gen 2 ( 2003-2006) should be fine. Also check the rocker panels and the radiator core support for rust damage. Good Luck

    2018 Expedition Release date

    I'm looking forward to seeing the 18 as well. The problem is the price of a new well equipped Expedition. They are out of range for the average guy. The Tahoes and yukons are even more expensive. Unless your making big bucks buy a used model.

    I use Lexol leather care kit to clean my Eddy Bauer seats. It cleans well and also includes a conditioner to apply after cleaning. Helps to preserve the leather.

    Tune up or not?

    I would not change the plugs unless it starts to miss. I've had an 03 for 7 years and had a coil go bad and had it replaced. Then another one went out a few months later so I had 8 new plugs and coils put on. It's difficult to change plugs on the 5.4 especially in the rear of the engine.
