2007 Expy Eddie Bauer - Interior upgrade/replacement options?

Hey all

I purchased an 07 expedition el Eddie Bauer edition. It's in pretty good condition, it does need a thorough detailing and clean.

There's some scratches and knicks on the outside but nothing I'm bothered about considering the age and price I paid.

Anyway my question is on the interior trim - it's pretty worn in places around the Center console and around the dash buttons.



Can those marks on the console be cleaned out or is is best to replace? Same with the trim around the vents/drive selector knob it's scratched I don't think that can be cleaned out.





The steering wheel is pretty dirty and it looks worn. This one may clean out but is there a replacement option?

Also I would like to replace the Center entertainment unit with something with CarPlay and fit a reverse camera.

Vinyl wrap can cover wood trim - which is actually fake plastic anyway - and other interior plastics (with simulated wood, aluminum, carbon fiber....you name it)

Sad - bad material choice, sloppily done curves, color mismatch - but passable first attempt



Had some people voice disbelief that it's not wood, diy and just cheapo vinyl over crappy hard plastic (tbh, tho, those girls were drunk)

I have that same color interior in mt EB and the steering wheel is leather. Get yourself a good leather cleaner and it should clean up fine. I cleaned mine and it looks great.

I think you did a good job on the wood grain dash.
