You basically have a bunch of distributed computers in your SUV that are supposed to work together to run your vehicle. If there is a communication issue preventing them from getting information from each other to run your vehicle, that's not good and will cause more problems down the road...
I have a 17 XLT expedition that was either a fleet or rental. It's been good. I knew what was in it when i bought it. No complaints but do find this amusing:
Today at a stop light waiting to turn left. There are 2 econo cars in front of me. A mazda 3 and a 4 door scion both have turn...
It depends on the person. If they think the world will end in 12 years like one of our freshman congressman, they won't be purchasing any SUV. They'll just ride a train.
For me I'll only buy them used as these are the highest profit vehicles that Ford & Chevy make.
Did you ever think you'd...
18 is the 1st year of a new model. I try to avoid them as they tend to work out the kinks in the next model years. However they are reporting better gas mileage, tech toys and interior plus the valves are being "washed" with gas so you don't have to even think about carbon build up over the...
I'm watch the show "Justified" on Amazon. The feds are using Chevy Tahoes, the police/sheriff Crown Vics and Expeditions, the main character a Lincoln Continental. You don't see many shows using an Expedition as a police vehicle. Oh and a local constable in an AMC Gremlin LOL
I almost see no...
Try other dealers via their internet sales dept. If you don't mind the hassle of traveling to another area and registering the vehicle yourself, you can save quite a bit over a dealer that won't deal. Ford dealers are in nearly every town, try another.
If they can't recreate it or used the stored codes, have them, if not cumbersome, leave the diagnostic tool in the Expy for it to record the "event".
Other than that, take a picture or recording of the dash when it happens and force them via Ford customer service to drive it until they can...
That's how I describe mine LOL. It's my giant ford country squire 4x4. Other than towing a few times a year that's all I really use it for. Now let's make that a commercial.
I just go with a Garmin GPS unit (free map updates) and my cell phone as a back up. The Garmin works great in cell phone dead areas. I hate the car manufacturer GPS. I have never had one as good as Garmin or a cell phone plus the cost of updates in the past turned me off to them.
Ford did. I didn't see a catch can on it & I doubt they did induction cleaning.

I'm going the route of following the manufacturer's recommended maintenance and nothing more. Although based on the 300K miles F-150 thread and a previously posted article, I'll pull the plugs to see their condition for replacement this summer. Understand that I do check the fluid levels and...
How about never using any induction cleaner? There are quite a few high mileage 3.5T F-150s on the road that have no catch can or did any induction cleaning.
From 2 of the articles previously posted, both said the build up issues occurred in older german cars. There were very few instances of...

I have a non tow package EL XLT. I added a non ford brake controller and 7 pin connector to replace the 4pin. I pull a 5000+ utility trailer a few times a year with no problems. MY EL has the 3.73 gears.
To answer your question, the HD tow package also has a higher capacity radiator...
Moose you are just seeing push back. The majority of the media already paints any European-American male that supports republicans as racist. If you live in the south it's foregone conclusion to the media.
Try wearing a MAGA hat around SF area and see how it goes. Make sure to record it.
Actually they need to revamp their cylinder deactivation method. There are many problems with oil consumption. Even GM parts online discusses it. So V-8's have issues too.

I spent most of this winter with a Bosch Icon ($22.99 before discount at advance auto parts) wiper on the driver's side and a XtraClear Conventional ($9.99) on the passenger side. I chose Bosch based upon stellar reviews.
Why 2? I replaced my old wipers with Bosch Icon but the passenger side...
I'm sure you know this but just a reminder that tires have an expiration date. I've had them blow out on trailers with low miles on them but they were old.
Also check the dates on those online orders just to be sure.

I watched and really liked that show. I didn't pick that up. Man to own a house on that waterfront out in the country! They could call me whatever they wanted.
I've never been bothered by name calling.
Now when the government decides to make my decisions for me, that's when I tend to bristle.
