2018 HELP!!! COLD START NOISE
Thank you! I spoke with the dealership this morning and told them the software update does not take place of the cam phaser replacement and it is still covered to replace it. They let me know I'll have to pay for it to go through diagnostics and "then IF that's even what is the problem" it's on...- Kandice

Update!!! I just spoke with the Ford dealership and they let me know they did do the software update in October. And it is covered as a one time fix for the cam phaser. So I'm waiting to see how much the cost would actually be to replace it, since they updated the software and that's what it...- Kandice

I don't believe I had that done. I don't remember being notified. I do, however, take it in for all my maintenence before it's due so hopefully they caught that. So, just to clarify, you believe the cam phaser is what's causing the cold start noise?- Kandice
