    backup camera

I went thru the the factiry grommet (was kind of a PIA because the rca cable is so big) but use a blade to cut what was needed. I tried to go thru the headliner, but had too much trouble. So i brought it down thru the rear pillar and pulled the luggage tray to push all of th way forward. Then...

    overwhelmed...need some help!

Damn Black Expy - did not realize you lived here in the "burg" - I would have stopped by and gave you a hand. Interested to hear your feedback on it. I used a Volant (different type of CAI) on my older F150 and did not notice a significant difference (or so I thought) until I took it off to...

    backup camera

I don't think so. I meant to take more pics while doing it but did not get many. I think the most irritating part was trying to get the video cable thru the factory grommet coming out of the tailgate (i think I have a pic of that). And, in hindsite, I would have run the wire thru the other...

    ipod charging dock

tha pro fit things does not look horrible - may have to consider that. Right now I have an ipod touch that stays in the center console and the wire to my head unit is thru there. That way the kid's movies and everything and my music are all on it. and also, if we go somewhere she can take the...

throw this in ebay "Night Vision License Plate Car Rear View Backup Camera" and it is the one I got. Paid 22.98 delivered off of ebay from ai_wholesale somewhere in the US. I am relatively happy with it. However it is not wide angle and is nothing like the one in the wifes Infiniti - but it does...

    What do you have inside

kenwood ddx-514, bluetooth module, ipod module, Pac SWI (garbage) and random POC monitor in the back (did not want overhead, anal about rear view mirror). Probably will be putting subs and amp in when I pull the deck to install a camera and most likely try different steering controls. But...

How is your cargo area organized and what do you keep back there?

mine is a family hauler and daily driver. cheap electric air pump, a large light (also 3D mag lite in the console), bug spray, suntan lotion, rags, blanket, a few snuggies (giveaways at work, would wear only as a last resort), inverter (no idea why, but its back there), a few random tools...

    # of New Expeditions Sold Keeps Dropping :(

prices are all over in Tampabay area. Tonight I passed one station that was $3.25 - one mile later another was $3.38. Keep in mind the Expy also has a lot more competition nowadays than back then. There are a lot of mid sized sport utilities that you can get with V8 power for towing. Back then...

Gonna have a 7 inch DVD navigation deck installed...Brand suggestions?

I am still real happy with my kenwood ddx-514. It is an older unit now, but it is double din (not flip)and does not have nav. As far as kenwood goes I am real happy and they definitely have nav units also. Not sure what year expy you are getting - but if you could get in a double din - I would...

    Brake Rotors

can not stress the importance of soaking with PB blaster (or your comparable choice) enough. Mine only had 30k on it when I did the front rotors and they were still difficult to get off. Good luck, Mike
