Thanks! Vent do work. I can put my hand over them i feel the hot air. Really noticeable in the summer. I am not sure how well it works when I am driving but I got to imagine that it draws the heat out then. There also isn't much obstruction around the underneath the hood stopping it from coming...
I painted my bumper with white plastidip over the summer and liked it. Of course you can see I sensed peeled it off. How hard is it to paint chrome and would it last if I were to do so? As for the hood, It is real carbon fiber and I wraped it with 4D carbon fiber wrap to protect it. It was a...
I thought about that too. It is all carbon fiber now and was thinking about taking gloss white vinyl wrap and wrapping around the sides and front pretty much leaving the middle still black CF and the rest white. Its hard to explain but I think it would look good.
I like the novi idea! I have been looking at other blowers too. I think that change is in the future. I may buy the billet impeller this month too but not sure yet because its 475$ and I am not so sure if the gains would be worth it.
Possibly a different hood? I kinda want a cowl but then again I have never seen a hood like mine.
I also want to possibly change the front bumper to a lightning or possibly a harley style. Not sure about that either because I haven't seen anyone with a bumper like mine
I also want to add...
I believe the 97-98 bumper brackets will bolt to the 99-02 bumper. I am debating on a 99+ bumper for mine too or a lightning style type. If I do a aftermarket lighting bumper I will still have to buy a 99-02 bumper or at least the chrome part because thats what bolts to the bumper mounts and the...
Sounds like a bad oil leak to me. Check to see if your PCV on your pass motor is plugged in. Sense blue smoke was coming up on both sides of the engine and you saw oil on the ground id bet its your oil sending sensor. When they go bad they like to squirt oil everywhere.
I went with the shortys. It sounds a lot better and it does seem to have more power. I am planning on the billet impeller too. I found it on line for 465$ Does that sound right? I think I will be doing this in march when I replace all my bearings. I already took my SC apart and took apart all...
I did the delay relay thing too. I ran a wire strait from my fuse panel to the trigger side of a relay and ran the stereo turn on wire through the normally open side of the relay. It works well. You can probably just run your stereo turn on strait to the fuse panel and be fine. I ran more then...
You can test the TPS with a volt meter. Turn your key on engine off and put the positve lead in the middle wire of the TPS plug located on the right of your throttle body and put the nagitive lead on the - side of the battery. You should see .95 to .99 and the voltage will go up as you twist...
I really haven't seen this issue with OEM HID's either. I can leave my fogs on auto and they both light up upon start up. That kit is different from the rest of my HID's and may require less current for some reason. Most ballast usually require a lot of current to ignite the bulbs and when you...
Every car iv seen with a aftermarket HID's will only light up one upon starting. Mine do it too on all my cars and I even rewired them through relays so they get a direct power source from the battery. Your going to have to keep them off auto. It will also save t he life of your HID's this way...
Feel for roughness while spinning and also try wiggling it too see if there is any movement. another thing you can do is go drive it at 55mph + for a few minutes and then feel your wheels. If you feel one hotter then the rest, Then that will probably be your trouble wheel. It could also be your...
