    For $250 I will let someone else bust there knuckles. If I had a bigger garage I would probably go for it but I don't. I could do it at work but its a pain to load up all my tools and drive 20 miles.

    Tallsville: turns out my favorite shop was the highest price in town on the 3/2 plus install and the tires. When it comes time to get it done I will see if they will match the other shops. Dib: I get what your saying about the alignment keys. I would rather pay more and have it done right...

    Thanks Dib. Does your rig still handle pretty stock. One thing my wife likes about the expy is its tight handling. I was thinking of 295 but then I have to go to a rougher riding LT. I will probably get 285 to stick with p metric.

    Brakes

    From what I have been told from racing guys slotted rotors are purely for looks unless you go with the super expensive ones. The OEM rotors are better and longer lasting than most of the slotted rotors that are sold. How many miles did you get out of your OEM stuff?

    HD Towing Package

    If I find an Expedition that has everything we want but does not have the HD tow package would it be worth it to upgrade? HD tow has 3:73, bigger rad and tranny cooler, anything else? I should mention I don't tow anything at this time but may tow a ski boat in the future.

    We will begin our serious hunt for a 05-06 in about a week. I plan to search out of state too. What's the best way to tell if one has the HD tow package. Most dealers and owners have no clue. All they can tell me is it has a tow hitch.

    Would you guys be scared of a 2nd gen or 3rd gen with a 100,000 miles? I am looking at a 2005 EB with 97000 that has everything we want and its $11000 or a 2007 EB 102,000 with everything for $18000. If I find one without the tow package is that hard to add? Is it just a matter of new gears...
