This is what i got so far. Just two KCs 130w long range beams. I just mounted them to my front bumper. I plan on getting the factory clear fogs and some flood beam lights to go on the bull bar.
Toyo makes a 35x12.5x22 tire here is a link

but they are quite expensive.
Your 305/45/r22 in inches equals 32.8x12x22. So really you are running 33s. And actually the first number 305 is the width of tread in millimeters. So 30.5cm=12in. Im not 100% sure about the how the second number comes about but i just usually use a tire calculator. But i am sure that the first...
If i took off my 6in fabtech lift off and swapped it for a 10in. full throttle susp. lift and kept my body lift and coil spacers i could fit them, i might be just a tad stuffed. Or if i got the 14in. FTS lift they would fit no problem.
Another route would be to do a SAS and just go as high as...
The guy with the maroon expy in the first picture lives in alabama. Ive seen him driving around where i live in the birmingham area. I havent been able to meet him yet but i do know that it has 7"s of lift with those 37" grapplers.
Yea i know what you mean i wasnt shootin your idea down, i actually liked that tranny but i just dont got the cash. My tranny guy gave me a quote to rebuild mine of around $1900 with my student discount and he said i could pay it off in payments.
But one of my dads friends shops has a 2000...
Yea thats what i wanted to do. I just want to get a used trans for cheap just to get it running again. That is also why i was wanting to know if a beefier trans would bolt right up with no issues. But it ounds like i would have to do quite a bit of stuff to make a trans other than the 4R70W to fit.
Yea i might try this. my only reservation is if the problem is more than just the torque converter. Then ive spent 400 bucks that couldve gone to rebuilding or getting a new one.
I called my transmission guy today and from what i described to him, he also said it sounds like the torque converter went bad but wasnt 100% sure.
Ok i guess once i get some money ill try to find a used A4OD and get it upgraded.
I have the 4R70W. I have a feeling if i get some one to build or rebuild me a tranny that is gonna cost big money. I just redid my gears so i dont have a grand or more to spend on a tranny. So really i guess my question is can i get a 4R100 tranny(used doesnt matter) for around $500 or $600 and...
I dont know, i just dont want to put the same type of trans i have back in because of my tires i feel like it would just break again. I just want a beefier trans and want to know if another type of used trans would bolt up to my 4.6.
And hell no to a manual trans. Not in a million years.
Well my trans crapped out on me today. I was coming home from school today and i was stopped at a light. when it turned green i gave it gas to go and the rpms went up to 3000 before it kicked in/. I felt like i was driving a manuel trans without a clutch. So long storu short it is now parked...
I keep mine in between my seat and the center console.
I havent been pulled over since i got it so i havent had to tell them about it but if i did get pulled over, i wouldnt tell them unless they asked.
Walnuts - my license only cost $7.50 and took about 1 week to get approved.
Yea dont get the spring that panda posted. It says up tp 5' ant. I have a 5' ant. and it never stayed upright so i never used it. Instead it should say 3' ant. MAX.
Oh ok yea i didnt think about that. But i think im gonna go with the ones i posted. I just want the projectors as my main lights, i was gonna turn the high beams into daytime running light and do Bi-xenon bulbs in the projectors.
Ok cool thanks.
I was looking at these also. I was actually goin to get them but then i came acroos the ones i posted. I just didnt know how the projector on those would work. Would they be a high beam or a fog light? Cause the 9007 bulb is a High and low beam in one.
Yea the price is pretty nice.
So for HIDs not being good for the projectors, is the light cut off the only issue. Its not like the HIDs are gonna melt the projector right? Cause im not worried about the glare at all, i wont be driving towards myself.
