Yes, the shocks are for 4" lift, Rancho RS5000 series. They work great and are firm. I have plenty of up travel and that was what I was concerned with initially. Since I did not lift a full 4"s, I was thinking that the shock would not have suitable uptravel. But they do and they work out great...
Well I did get the new smoked tail lights in and installed. I think they look great and am getting 1 step closer to all blacked out. And a daylight pic of the painted black center section of the grille.
Here are some pics,
The Pinion Preload is the rotational torque you would get if you placed a dial Indicating inch pound torque wrench on the pinion nut and turned it without the carrier installed, it measures the free rotational force required to turn the assembled pinion gear and is required so your Pinion...
Well if it is not leaking, then yes try tightening it down to specs. But it may be a pinion bearing that has gone awry. And this is not that common of a problem, and when it is, it is usually because PO failed to torque the pinion nut to specs, and just mind over matter torqued it.
Dude, I wish I would of known of the company for those retreads before I forked over $265.00 a tire 2 weeks ago. Those backbones in the 305/70/16 look pretty damn sweet, and at 131.00 a piece, no ********************ing allowed.
The fastest way to see if you have a LS rearend is to jack up the rearend off the ground so that both tires are off the ground. Once you have both tires off the ground, take and spin one tire forward, if the other tire spins in the forward direction also, then it is a LS rear. If the tire spins...
What I do is take the vent line off, then take a tooth pick or something slim line and poke it thru the axle tube vent line fitting. Doing that, you are pushing whatever little debris that maybe in it into the axle. Do not worry about contamination or anything of the sort as the amount of debris...
I personally do not have them on the Ex now, but I have had them on my other trucks. But they mount using a bracket mounting them using the existing holes on the top of tail light, and then a additional hole needs drilled on the interior of tailgate area.
Here are the instructions to mount...
Man, I am pretty pissed, first I order the K/N FIPK, and after almost 2 weeks on delivery I get a call and the kit is on backorder. Then I get a freebie basically with a lesser kit, and I get it today and it is missing a second box with heatshield and some plumbing. WTF? Now they are sending me...
Honestly we are the wrong people to ask that, not to be a SA, but Ford will be the only ones to answer that for you. We can assume many things, but the only right answer is Ford themselves.
About 4 yrs ago I experimented with the new new Hooker Aero Chamber muffler. Once I had it installed on my Bronco, I fell in all graces with it. It is not as loud as a Flowmaster, and has a great tone to it. Every since then, I have bought and built and sold many Bronco's and always added the...
I buy 85% of my stuff from Summit, I get Summit bucks all the time that are worth dollar for dollar. And I get deals on my Summit credit card all the time that others can not beat. Best customer service, and the shipping is fast if it is available out of the Ga warehouse.
Looks to me as the bushings were the wrong size, our universal bushings, and pushed right thru the swaybar. And I have never seen a elongated bushing like that, usually they are round and 1/2" to 3/4" thick, not tall like that one you are showing.
Well I do not know if safe or not safe is the right terminology to be used, but is fitting in this inquiry. There are spacers out there to be had that are none lug mounted which means that the spacers are intended to lay over the rotor and then you mount the rim and tighten the rim down...
Thanks for the info. That is what I was figuring on, the holes being there, which is what I do not want showing. But if I keep this, then I will eventually camouflage this truck. So then I will fill the holes in.
Oh, I am a pic whore. It is a win-win situation for all here.
Thanks Guys, the Expi is getting there, and more to come. Tomorrow I get the CAI from Summit Racing delivered and haven been told that the K&N CAI was on back order after almost 2 weeks of waiting, the cheap one I purchased mostly on their dime also got the 2 day Air shipping on them also. So I...
My spacers are 1" and I too could not mount my new tires and rims as the rims was laying against the front calipers.
Here is the link, these were the cheapest I found in the 1" thickness,
