The cluster as I understand is equipped with the PATS(Passive Anti-Theft System) and would require a reprogram for the keys to work and you being able to start the vehicle.
Here is a link that was given to me when I was contemplating the same swap when the odometer was going in and out...
#2-Any auto parts store sells them for all 4 windows for like $25.00. All are the same no matter where you get them.
#3-The e-brake switch behind the pedal maybe need of cleaning or replacing. Or the dummy light on the cluster may need replacing...
The part you are asking about sounds like your rear trac bar. It mounts to the frame at one end and to the rear spring mount on the axle. It is there to ensure the rearend does not move side to side. If it breaks due to rust then your rearend will move in and out from under the body. Not safe...
Spacers would only help you with changing from OEM botl pattern to another bolt pattern. The real issue here is the clearance from the caliper to the rim. That is why they came wit 16-17" rims. Going down a size in diameter is a point in which you need to trial fit it before you purchase. I...
I just received my Edge EVO/HT today and already tuned it using the 87 Octane tune, and I got to tell you, the truck acts like a big boy now. The 4.6 hesitated at take off and requied full throttle for it to get up and go trying to pass someone. The shifts are much firmer and the truck takes off...
Well I got the tuner in today and I installed a tune called 87 octane. After I installed the new tune, I took it for a test drive. I programmed it for the 33" tires and firmer shift points. I could not believe the difference with that tune. It takes off like it has a purpose, shifts much firmer...
Have you pulled the CEL codes? And if so what are they?
Secondly, the lean issue is coming from most likely the ECU is reading rich mixture thru the O2 sensors, and is manually leaning the fuel and air mixture. I would like to know what the CEL codes are to give us a starting point.
You apparently have not read anything in this forum, especially in the suspension section as where you just posted and if you did you would of seen just about every other topic is concerning this very question.
Well I just ordered my tuner, it is the EVOHT programmer.

Should arrive by this weekend. Lets see what this thing can do to help with the fuel economy and performance.
I run 3" spacers in back of mine that I got from E-Bay,

For safety sake to ALL, NO ONE should ever suggest for another to trim or shave their calipers on a open forum. That is about the most unsafe thing you can do that directly effects your stopping ability nd the safety to you, your passengers, and the drivers and pedestrians walking on sidewalks...
Pretty damn sweet deal. Can't beat that with a stick for sure. Looks good, and how do they ride? It looks by the constructive look that they are E Load rated. Is it rougher on the bumps than the old ones?
Nice find. :waytogo:
Springs are the least maintenance costly way to go. If you go to air, then you will be spending alot of money to repair or replace. I would not convert it to air, stay air free.
If you have a bad negative ground at the battery to the block, it could cause a intermitten voltage drop. Or a short somewhere within your engine management wiring harness. I have seen this happen to if you have wateror moisture exposure to your engine management fuse box. Have you recently gone...
Did you have them test your alternator? Does no good to replace battery if the alternator is not replacing what your demand is. And the battery being dead or close to it could cause electrical issues because of supply vs demand. Especially when every thing is electrical to maintain engine...
