I sprayed WD all over and I am still getting some squeaks. Has anybody had any squeaking from the rears before? I am wondering if I am missing a joint or 2.
Thanks. I am looking to do this but need to know is it better to just have 4WheelParts do it and align it or me do it and then drive it to get it aligned.
The clicking noise sounds like an axle. I have bad squeaking on mine and I have yet to find out what is causing the noise. I have replaced ball joints and even greased areas where I think it might be causing the noise.
Are you sure the first tool was able to get a good bite into the plug? I had this happen where the tool did not get a good grip on it and I just reset the tool and went a little further in.
Nice. I was using the Smart Start from Viper but they stopped support on the latest BlackBerry phones. So now I just have the remote start with the Key Fob. I want to get one installed on my Miata but most shops won't touch remote start on a manual car unless you buy the upper market remote...
Yeah, but I have a scanner already. Mine just doesn't read the ABS codes. I was thinking about picking one up that does but I can't justify having 2 of them. Mine ran me about $150 back in 2007.
Thanks for the reply! I have checked the bearing and they are still ok. I was thinking it might be a bad ABS sensor throwing the intermittent light but my question is would that sensor affect the 4WD when in AWD.
That was kind of uncalled for. I mean I understand what you mean but still.
To the OP, sounds like a unique swap. Probably uncharted territory. Good luck and if you do decide to attempt it, definitely get pics and stuff.
Hey guys. I hope you can help me. I have been searching for an answer all over but I can't find anything pertaining to the 2nd gens. I have a 2005 Expedition and my ABS light will come on every so often. I was thinking that it may be an ABS sensor. But every time I get ready to take it to a...
No. Mirror switch was left alone. Picked up a window switch from the junkyard and mounted it in the location where the message center buttons would be. If you hold it one way, it extends the mirrors out and vice versa. I was going to get the actual mirror switch but just decided to install it...
I had to run a new circuit and switch to run the power folding mirrors. To get the defrost to work, I just found the wire on the Expedition and soldered it to the power wire in the Nav mirrors. The ground plugged right in with the plug.
I will tell you that it took some getting used to with the...
Finally am able to post up pictures of the tires on the truck.
I did manage to pick up some new wheels from a guy on the Forum, Fiveohpoepoe. I think his name was Tony. Real cool guy and his truck looks amazing! He lives in Winston Salem and he met me in Greensboro at the Coliseum. He...
