If you HAVE to run under the truck, definitely shield the wire with some kind of wire loom and I would definitely wrap numerous times with electrical tape. Maybe even get some rubber hose and slit that open to put the wire in between and then tape that up.
I was looking at some of the preformed boxes out there for the Expedition and all of them show the passenger side. But like Canadian said, that doesn't mean that there is not one out there.
I am trying to gear up for the upcoming winter. I had to get some new tires. My Nitto Terra Grapplers were shot. They were loud as hell too.
Here is a shot of them:
I had been researching tires for a while and finally settled on a set of Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10s. Reviews for them...
So I have been on this board for a while now and I don't post very often but I felt that I should start a build thread. So here we go.
Well, it looks like I am just about complete with the Miata other than basic maintenance so I have shifted some of my focus towards my Expedition. I am about 5...
You definitely want to get a printout of the wiring diagram. Wherever you buy your alarm/remote start, ask if they can give you the printout. I know that the Viper Dealers get theirs from DEI.
Hey guys. I didn't know where I should put this but I wanted to know if anyone was in the NC area (RDU preferably) that has the Lisle 65600 Spark Plug removal tool to borrow. I want to attempt this job but I wanted to have the kit just in case. Please let me know.
Sorry to resurrect an old thread.
Did you do the rears yourself? Was it difficult to do? I am contemplating on whether I am going to do this myself of have a shop do it.
I haven't done it since I have owned it. I don't drive it much. I have put only 5k on it for the year. I will look at the plugs soon. I have heard about plugs breaking when removing. Any tips or things I should look out for?
Eric is correct. You would be able to see on the actual switch the way to get the mirrors to fold. Your mirrors look like OEM non-folding mirrors. I was able to obtain a set of Navigator Folding mirrors and wire them up to work in my 05. I am still working on trying to mount my switch. I went to...
Joe, I am at work right now so I can't call at the moment. I am looking for the rear lift gate struts to tide me over for a bit. Are yours in good working condition? And also I need the blank on the dash on the gear selector side is. Let me know. Thanks.
How many of these D3s do you have? I was possibly going to put one into my Miata since I have one in the Expedition already. Do you have the bluetooth module for sale seperately also?
I agree with Skyjumper. Most companies that really put this as their selling point are companies that will fold in a day or so. Lifetime of the business is what they really mean.
