    Everyone please read.....

I'm in Chambersburg. BCT is a bit of a hike, but doable. Although, it would have to be mild wheeling, lol. The Expy is currently my go-to vehicle for towing my daughters' horses to shows. My wife would be less than impressed with damage to it, lol.

I'm in PA, just north of Hagerstown, if that helps.

    engine block heater

We've had some fairly cold weather here in PA so far this winter and that is my biggest complaint! I solved it, though. Since I leave for work at about the same time the older kids get on the bus, I have been driving them down the lane and waiting for the bus with them. Idling there for 5...

    AvS Vent Visors

I picked up a set of inchannel ones from ebay last spring ($25-$30 shipped IIRC). They have adhesive tape on them as well, but they do slide up into the channel. The first few times, I was half afraid of putting the windows all the way up, but I have had no issues with them at all. They've...

    Weired electrical issue

I let it sit overnight and everything appears to be fine now. Guess I'll wait and see if it happens again. I do not have a sunroof by the way. Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye on it.

    Weired electrical issue

OK, first the particulars: 2001 Expy XLT, 4.6, 128K miles I just had this thing serviced on Thursday, then proceeded to drive it to Georgia and back over the weekend, roughly a 1900 miles round trip. I have had no issues with this rig since I bought it in February and I've put almost 15K...

    Baby seat

This is not always the case. They are only trained IF they have taken the NHTSA class. In my department, I am the only certified tech. Dave was right on with his explanation and 98Expy is also correct, the Fun Noodles are great for leveling car seats. If you guys have any questions about...

    This belong to someone here?

Well, in keeping with the sub-subject of the thread, my wife is 4'11" and swears that I am not lifting the Expy at all... As soon as I pick up something else to tow the horse trailer, I'm thinking a 3/2 and some 33's, lol. If I do it all at the same time, I am pretty sure I can pass it off...

    My 07 Lifted EL w/ 33's

I think you may be right about the prerunner bar...maybe a bull bar instead?

    Interior and running board lights....

Talls, that doesn't work with the earlier models...unfortunately.

    Occupations.

Same here. Been doing it for about 20 years now... Guess I should add website owner/administrator to that as well. Been moderating/adminning web forums (mostly paintball related, lol) for several years and finally bought a few of them.

    debadging

Walnuts, are the emblems on the older models actually held on by screws or are they on with adhesive and just pins through alignment holes?

    LED Bulbs for exterior.

Stupid question, but are you guys just using LED replacements for the stock bulbs? I wouldn't mind doing something like that, but I am not a big fan of the Ebay LED replacement housings and such.

This forum is less than helpful...peace out

Hmm, sounds like you did throw a bit of a tantrum there and the continued verbal assualts have not been promising either. I haven't been on here long, and, while I agree with you that some threads seem to go unanswered for longer than they should, I totally disagree with your attitude about it...

    CB Installed... well awhile ago..

If you order the kits, the Firestik's come with 16 feet of cable. They recommend that as the optimum length. If you don't need that much, you just loosely coil the extra. Wingnut, do you think a spring on the mounting end of the antenna would be a good idea? I'd hate to mess up a Firestik...

Panda, here is the thread. I've been patiently waiting for him to show more pics/details as well, lol.

    Photo shoot.

Yeah, I gotta admit, I'm not usually a fan of that rim style, but that looks dead sexy... I love the FX4 addition as well. Nice.

    winch???

If that is the only reason you are going to be using it, you could just use a receiver hitch plate and mount the hitch to the rear receiver when you need it. Get the trailer up to the truck, remove the winch and hitch up the trailer.

    DIN question...

OK, since i have the inevitable "Empty Mag" message from my CD changer, I am (halfheartedly) looking to replace the stock stereo with something else. I ran across this on Crutchfield. Now, I am not going to spend $600 on a head unit, no matter how cool it is, but it does bring up a question...

    CB installed

Walnuts, Did you have to do any "creative bending" with the mount? That is the setup (and location) I was looking at, but was not sure how it would work... I was looking at a 4ft Firestik, though, and possibly putting a spring on it to help with low hanging branches, etc. Thanks for the...

    2000 Expedition CD Changer problem

My CD changer in my '01 does exactly the same thing. Thankfully, I run an XM unit, so I put this on my backburner, but I would love to know a solution...

    49" Tailgate LED lights

I've been wondering the same thing. I don't want to put it on the plastic part of the bumper that runs between the hatch and the door itself. I've thought about putting it across the bottom of the hatch itself, but most of the LED tailgate lights I have seen don't have the best finished look...
