Mine has a slight dip so I may make a hole in the slight dip, the inlet duct has a 90 degree radius so I would think that helps. Ill try posting pics to my album
And at fordandpolaris. I too have 3.73 gears
Well it is done, I did not cut the bumper however due to a few reasons, one is I may not keep the duct because well it just looks ugly and two the maze of plumbing behind the bumper sits a little to close to my tire for comfort and I may end up just leaveing the top hose from intake to fender...
i dont think haveing an idle of close to 2 grand is good for the truck, i know it can be done, i heard you have to screw with the pcm but once you do that its not reversible a friend of mine did that on his work van, yea it was just all downhill from there
update: I decided i dont like the duct below the bumper so tommrrow my black ground effect piece meets the dremel with the mini circular saw blade, going to make a notch so it looks like it came with factory ram air
well as the intake duct im using the inlet to draw air to the airbox that was used on the 90s f series trucks and broncos, the duct fits perfectly, i can not mount the duct by the liscense plate due to the fact that i have an air compressor mounted behind the plate and amber lights next to the...
i actually think we have enogh space to do this seeing as the gotts mod utilizes that big hole in the fender, all we need to do is run a duct from that hole and we should be good to go
what Imma do is try to get the flexible drain pipe tubing, cut a hole into the black plastic fender skirt and run the duct right below my driver side fog light, radiator hose would be avoided, only problem i see is if the tire is going to interfere. Im going to the junkyard in the morning, gonna...
I kinda stole this idea from bakers design but i have an idea to do it differently. what if we take the air induction tube used to feed cool air into the air box on the 90s f series trucks mount that under our bumpers and run a duct from that piece to the air box? bakers way is good but for...
dose the transfer case on a 2002 have a gasket? mine leaks oil from the center where the two halves join. I can see rtv sealant squeezed out but i can not find a gasket for this thing. would like to fix this soon tired of finding little drips of oil on the floor
the dpfe has two hose coming out of it, one hose may be cracked so check that out if you want, thats what was wrong on mine, put on two new hoses and the light went off
ZING!
there you go lol

I dont want to start anything but seriously what kind of crap is that that the dealers pull? a damn piece of metal with a 10 cent computer chip in it and 5 minutes to program the key and they charge $135? thats like how they wanted to charge me 160 for a second remote and to program it, I went...

i actually mounted it it under the truck useing a scrap steel bracket, took one bolt out of the hitch put bracket on and put bolt back, its tucked up out of sight and is very loud when ur behind me
