    I just purchased a used Edge Evolution for my 98 Expy. Wohoo paid $275 and it's only 6 mo's old. Will I need to call Edge and get a new code for my application? I think it was on a 2001 F150 5.4. Thanks

    Just a guess but is the solenoid clicking when you try to start it? If so you may have a bad battery.

    1998 rear console remove back cover

    Brian if memory serves me right you have to pull the console and turn it over. The controller is on the bottom side. You have to remove the electronic controller to open the damper to be able to permanently sffix it open. Ken

    It's pretty easy. you've got to pull the console first. To do that you need to pull the console inserts both in the cd holder and the cup holder. You can then undo the bolts holding it in. Disconnect the electrical connections and pull the console out. Turn it over and you can get to the damper...
