Hey Guys,

I have a 1998 Eddie Bauer with the rear console heating/AC controls. The rear fan always worked. Now, when I turn on the fan, I can hear the fan running, sounds like it is blowing but no air coming out the vents. I change the diverter (top bottom lever) and still no air coming out the top or bottom.

Just wondering what to check. I started to pull up the rear console cover, it unsnapped from the bottom and came up almost all the way, kind of like it was hinged. Then stopped and the top did not want to let loose. Just wonder how that top part comes off and also what I can look for.

Thanks guys.

Brian

Anyone?

Hey guys, has anyone ever pulled a rear console cover off or looked at/changed a rear AC motor?

Thanks

Brian

I was able to pull at the bottom of the rear plastic cover which houses the AC controls and it comes up from the bottom but then seems to stop half way up. I just don't want to snap it. Thanks.
