    Got a few things done this weekend

    Had a lil time this weekend so decided to do a few cheap mods to the Expedition.... First I bought a drop in K&N filter and chopped the outter section of the stock housing down to get more air.... Then I bought some nightshades paint and tinted the tails and third brake light.... but the best...

    convert the old 5 lug bolt pattern to the newer 6 lug? im just curious cause I want to upgrade my wheels soon and theres not a wide range of wheels to fit the older 5 lugs.... plus 6 lugs is better than 5 lol... I know changing front hubs and rear axles would need to be done but just throwing it...

    The clicking noise is most likley the battery/corrosion on the cables.... pull the batt clean the cables with a wire brush and install your new battery if it still does it after all that then i would say its the starter but change batt and clean cables first

    My thoughts on this is im thinking its the alternator as someone already stated.... A regulator going bad inside the alt can give you very irratic and intermittent problems.... your mechanic may have checked it out but if the regulator wasnt acting up when he checked it, it would have looked...

    Question about wiring

    If there is just one power wire that controls the box all you have to do is run a wire from the battery (with inline fuse) up to the switch then run a wire from the other side of the switch over to the control box.

    I have a 97 expy... got a spare key made at wally world today and went to use it and it starts the truck but it will only run for a second... runs fine with my original key.... is it a chip key? I guess?.... is the dealershit the only place to get a spare?
