    Lane Keeping System

I forgot about that button. I was crossing a lot of lines during my 1st test drive trying to get it to work. The salesman had no idea. That night I found out about the button in the manual.

    Lane Keeping System

    >40 mph. You will see green bars in the center bottom of the dash. They turn yellow when you start to cross a detected line.

    Interior water leak?

You should call the general manager and express your concerns about a lemon. I would also be concerned about mold if you have to wait. Some things get more expensive the longer they wait.

    Coils Squeak

I did the Bilstein replacements myself and I don’t notice any noise. Maybe they left a bolt loose? The bottom one on the rear shock gets a really high torque (300-400+ ft lbs). It should have the vehicle weight on it for the final torque. I think I posted the exact torque in the 3rd shock...

Temporarily shutting off the loud warning alerts when backing a trailer?

Are you plugging in the trailer lights? I think that is the criteria used to disable the backup proximity sensors.

    Drive Modes

I don’t know of a solution for drive mode memory on the 4wd’s. I created a thread a while back for a solution on the 2wd’s that works most of the time. https://www.expeditionforum.com/threads/drive-mode-memory-installation.43491/#post-396008

Low beam Headlight Duse Location Mystery

If I’m reading the wiring diagram correctly it is either either the BCM or the wiring in the brown-blue wire. It also could be the ground path. They use mosfett’s instead of relays. So there are no replaceable relays to check.

    ZAK C500 Engine Oil Booster

Show him the prohibition in the manual and ask him to provide proof that it is a recommendation from Ford. Below is a screen shot of from the 2019 manual page 334.

Low beam Headlight Duse Location Mystery

There is no fuse for low beams only according to the wiring diagram. Do you have LED or halogen headlamps? Do the high beams, and turn signal work on the drivers side. They pull from the same bus.

    Front camera warning

The camera for the driver assist (Lane keep assist, Adaptive cruise control, and automatic braking) is in plastic cover behind the rear view mirror. The camera in the emblem is only for 360° and possibly the park assist which isn’t available on the XLT.

    Raptor Grille Light Connector?

Before choosing a light to tap into on the halogen setup, pay close attention to how it operates. I think there are only 3 bulbs with a single filament each. 1. Park/turn - your lights would flash with the turn signal 2. DRL/low beams - lights would be off when high beams are activated. 3...

Changed LED headlight bulbs and added Sequential LED Light Strip

I agree with Randal. I have only been flashed once since installing them 10 months ago. It was while apexing a hill. The beam pattern is very similar to the stock LED’s in my wife’s Hyundai.

Intelligent access door handles not working

I had a similar issue with the key. It was after I had the ignition on for an extended time without the engine running. It could be battery charge level related as others have mentioned.

    Fuse tap mystery

When the heater isn’t working, measure the voltage on the top of the fuse. A lot of blade fuses have flush metal points for troubleshooting on the top. The displays may have large capacitors to help protect them from shutting down on short low voltage events. These same capacitors may cause a...

    Refreshed Ford Expedition?

Lane keep assist and lane centering are two very different features. The expeditions advertise as lane keep assist, so it won’t try correcting until you are about to leave or have left the lane. Lane centering is what you are asking for and Ford has it for other models. I have wondered if they...

    Fuse tap mystery

Just to confirm, is it F37? If so, the wire leaving the fuse block should be a blue with a brown stripe. It provides power to the heated steering wheel module. I’m not sure where it is located. From the diagram, it appears to receive its command through the CAN network. The button will probably...
